She's not banned. :/
And euh. Yeah, they sell them in bags of like three at my caf. Overpriced as usual.
I don't eat a whole lot from school. :/ There's tons of places down the street along the shore from my school.
Found a nice skate shop too.

Linkin Park316 Skate as in ice, or skateboarding? Boarding. Skate, snow, surf.. very nice type of family-owned kinda store. Your typical hole-in-the-wall though.
If better advertised, they'd make a helluva lot more money, but they need expansion first. I've offered them my services in that department and they might be contacting me after summer to set something up.

Even Chuck Norris couldn't punch his way through that exam.
You know what SUCKS about university?
Scholarly writing tends to be complex. That's not my complaint. It's long, extensive and typically mingled with some strong vocabulary and intellectual rhetoric. That's fine. But when a student tries to replicate and write in anything remotely abstract? We're bashed into the ground and given a huge, bleeping red..
?
Seriously, what the hell? You want use to STUDY you, ADMIRE you, but not write LIKE you. Our writing has to be simple. But not too simple! Or we'll be called novices to the english language and told to take engineering or some junk. Damned if you do, damned if you dont.
Irritating. Irritating. Irritating.

I'm personally a fan of journalistic writing, instead of scholarly writing. It's just easier.

That's screwed up, haha. Good luck with that.
Pff I'm taking English for the third time since it's apparent that it's so challenging for me to reach a minimum of 70% to get into my university. For the last two times, I did s**t all. Never came to class, when I did, all I'd do is sleep, didn't hand in any of my assignments. You'd think I'd learn a thing or two during my second attempt. I'm surprised I even passed the course both times. Though it was probably because I aced the exam. My teacher even pulled me aside in the middle of the semester to tell me I have a lot of potential and I'm one of the best students in the class from what she's seen (which is quite minimal lol). I was getting an 85 in midterm and it dropped to a 67 for the final. xd I have no problem with literature, I just never handed in any work.
Yeah, so not really motivated on that subject. And yes I do expect to write essays more frequently in university... *sigh* shoot me.
Sorry I havne't been on lately, not like you've noticed ehe. I realize my oppurtunity has flown by more than once and it's my last chance to make up for high school. Can't wait to leave this hell hole.

I noticed you weren't around. **Breaks into song.** But seriously, yes, expect essays o' plenty. And professors that aren't afraid to enact their own subjective tastes in grading your work. What're you planning to do in university? Ihabia I'm personally a fan of journalistic writing, instead of scholarly writing. It's just easier. Yeah, journalism is alright. That what you're taking at STU? It's just the contradictions in the analytical stuff that bothers me.

I am horrible in english. That's why I might go to a french college. I understand better in french.
But I really don't know what I want to do later on. I have to hurry because next year is my last year of high school.

Porcelain Hearts: I was the same way in English in high school. I did hardly any work, and it pissed the teacher off because she said what I did was so damn good.

English is my weakest point in Cegep atm.
But I'm raping everything else so it's all good.
According to my CRC, I can enter.. "most university programs".
