"I realized that you had your own troubles that you don't want to share with us not a week after I came here. But hard to understand? Hard to believe maybe, you've kept up appearances well, but I can understand far more. It's for you to decide what to do with it though, I've no right to pry." Dragging himself away from that topic and leave her to her own devices, he commented again on his copies actions. "He wants to live my life as well as end it. My shadow carries all of my memories but without any of the joy of them. If he's been lenient on us at all its because he wants to have his own experiences here, and drown out the pain."

No wonder he does what he's doing. Makes a kind of twisted sense I guess. Though as much sense as it makes, it still doesn't excuse all that's happening, nothing does." She sighed, " I"m still looking for that one thing that tells you both apart."

((Sorry for dropping like that, slight medical emergency popped up))

"I actually understand his actions. You don't know what its like to believe that you aren't you, almost as if everything you know is a lie." A natural response on his part, wanting to defend his attacker because he was guilty of almost the exact same. But something inside him was afraid to say that out loud as Aurahkah denounced it. His truth felt exposed, as if he really was the monster he feared. But he had to carry on, and shifted topics hastily, hoping it wouldn't come up again. "Apart? It might not be that simple. He still shouldn't be able to mimic the Soulforge's flames, the disembodied souls within are still unique. But I seriously wonder now, he may be able to duplicate the appearnce at least."

Aura nodded to him. "Looks like a provoking action has to be taken every time you walk into a room. Got to get that sword drawn and flared up on the defensive." Her eyes shifted down to the floor where that said sword had been set down and stepped from in a demonstration of trust. She smiled slightly. "I bet you know how crazy this is all for me then, after all, look at things we get into deep discussion about. Hard to believe that a copy can respond as easily and seemingly truthfully as the original."

Eclipse ventured a few steps towards this Saradin, gold and stones of his bangles clinking together as he did so. Aurahkah might of felt bad, but he was sure he felt worse. He had such a bond with Saradin that not trusting him seemed horribly wrong, and to him it was.

Seeing how this got to his friends only accentuated the problem for Saradin. Guilt, as ironically pure an emotion as it is, was still something he didnt want to see Eclipse suffering because of him. "It seems strange, looking at someone and not knowing if they really are who they should be." He knelt to meet the approaching Eclipse eye to eye, gazing into the blue eyes like they were the flames of his sword a few feet away. "I'm the cause of this. Don't place any blame on yourself for what you have to do, be careful."

"Even so, you know we'd only spur you on to the point of defending yourself, only hurting you if the cause should arise and even if that were to happen, nothing life threatening." In her own head she was forming plans. So sure the copy could mimic Saradin physically, but maybe there was a difference to his spirit's signature, or something that was non physical about the man. One thing had caught her attention though; whenever one was coming, the other disappeared with much haste.

Ebony wings ruffled themselves as the wolf sat down not more than a foot in front of a kneeled Saradin. He watched him for a moment as he contemplated. So the copy had merely touched him for the sheer purpose of trying to feel the comfort that the real Saradin gained from the dark wolf. Despite Saradin's words, he would rise to the defense of any Saradin before outright ripping his throat out...that is if that present Saradin wasn't being hostile to the others. "Don't place all the blame on yourself either."

Letting his attention draw away from Eclipse for a moment he regarded Aurahkah's idea. "Then you'll make it so that I'll be the one who needs to keep their guard up around you? I can live with that. But I'm still worried about what will happen if you force him into combat, he could react like a cornered animal." From there he focused again on Eclipse and reached out to scratch the soft blue fur gently. "It's rather funny, we use a positive approach to keep me here, but remove the 'nice'-ness when it comes to facing the problem. So which way should this be considered, Optimistic or pessimistic?"

Aura only smirked. "That might be a problem...considering that no one else has faced himin combat besides me and I'm sure yourself. The others though...that's the problem." She then cast a look to Syrathos, lacking that familair Aura smile. "Syrathos."

Eclipse moved slightly closer to Saradin, letting himself be pet. He'd allow it. He was intrigued to test the copy Saradin...would the man bring himself to hurt the wolf. "I think it's a little bit of both persoanlly."

Nailah jumped out of bed and grinned. She felt fantastic. This is the way it always was. Now, she felt fine. Earlier she had felt like she was run over by a bus. She stopped to kiss Rasui's head and slipped out of her seductive red, nightgown. Throwing on some clothes she began to hum and opened her door. Walking out into the Great Hall, she saw Saradin, Aura, and Eclipse. "Hey, everybody. Waht's new?" she asked smiling at them all in turn.

Rasui walked out into the hall and jumped onto Nailah's shoulder. She rubbed against her cheek and began to purr.

Syrathos stood watching the conversation bewteen the three of them. He turned around "Hello" he said to Lady Nailah. He then fixed his attention on Aura and Saradin "Eclispe" he silently whispered hoping the wolf to walk over to him.

"Nailah, Syrathos. Good day to you both. But Nailah, will you be okay in out here? We're circulating a good bit of negativity right now." He looked down to the sword resting on the flooring. "There's a problem concerning me, if you see me again in the halls, try not to approach me. I have a shadow copy who can freely move about and apparently mimic even my personality almost perfectly."

Looking to Nailah she gave a solemn, lacking Aura-ness, nod. "Evening Nailah."

Eclipse licked his muzzle and turned his head in the the direction of Syrathos. He knew the angel was telepathic, and he seemed to want to keep the conversation low, since he beckoned the wolf in a whisper. 'Yes Syrathos? Something the matter?'

Nothing at all Eclispe, I just haven't seen you in so long. Syrathos turned to Saradin "Only almost?" this got him thinking, if it was not perfect there had to be imperfections.

Nailah looked at Saradin and thought. She closed her eyes and felt her senses tingle. "Yeah, I'm getting somehting but it's not enough to hurt. How is Bastet, by the way?" She looked at Syrathos and nodded. Reaching up she nonchalantly stroked Rasui.

Rasui jumped down off Nailah's shoulder and walked over to Eclipse. Twitching her tail she sat down in front of him and began to lick her paws.
