The group had their full attention on the group of Miattu, but even the group and the cats would notice the change in temperature in the air around them. The cooling air had suddenly gotten quite a bit warmer and a serpent with scales and wings like that of the rainbow appeared from behind. The reptile slithered through the air, circling above the two groups passively.
In view of the Miattu and directly behind the other group, more than 10 of the serpents were wiggling in the air above a litter that was carried by about four men with a man behind the litter with a heat spell. There was only a single well-dressed man sitting in the litter’s cushioned seat, and he was the youngest out of the men in the new group. A single white colored winged serpent laid neatly across the back of his shoulders. His eyes, the color of sulfur, swept over the group of humans once, a small frown appearing on his lips, before he looked straight at the leader of the Miattu. After meeting eyes with the lead, the young man did not break eye contact nor did he say a word until the litter came to a halt. “What do you think you’re doing in my domain, cat?” the man spoke, his voice extremely sharp and poisonous.

The Warrior's fur stood on end, as he glared up at the man uncertainly. The only thing stopping his attack now was the his Chief had made a treaty with the man; one that the lead Warrior felt was going to end up unreguarded(sp?) sometime soon when (he didn't think it was a matter of if) the man grew hungry for more land. "They smell of dragon. They were in land that wasn't yours human, and dangerously close to our Clan. We've come to kill it, and end the potential endangerment of our Clan." He spat back. Fury burned in his eyes, and he edgily lashed his tail back and fourth. There were so many of the serpents; the cat-like beasts were outnumbered.
Holt's mother sank down to the ground, cowering away. She too, disliked the man. He struck fear into her heart, and made her tremble in worry.
Unlike the female, the rest of the Miattu rose up onto their hind legs, readying to attack. They had noticed the change in the temperature- but it could have just as well been the tension building up.

The majority of the Mittau hissed right back up at the young man. The slowly backed away, but never turned around. Never. Turning around would show even more weakness- just backing away was sad enough already. "They will be our issue if we find one kit missing. One hair off one kit missing, and the treaty will have be broken on your part!" He snarled. The lead gave another siginal with his tail, and the rest of the cats backed up with him.

"He's gone," Mickey told the man. Her answer was vauge; she didn't know who this was or if they could trust him.

Kiaya's eyes looked at the new male, she was thankful the cat creatures had left, but she kept her hand on her hilt and her other hand holding the bag close. No one would harm hewr dragon unless they wanted the wrath of the Dragon Clan apon them.

Claw looked up at the man as he spoke. Obviously, he was of great power.... But how did he know who Hari was? "Hari's gone, and thank God for that!" The angel snorted, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Down," came the command from the young man. The men quickly bent down so that the litter would be easy to step down from. The noble rose gracefully and stepped off of the vehicle before letting his gaze pass over all of the members of the group, ending with Kaiya. The answer he had gotten from the pink-haired girl was not pleasing to hear and there was no way that he would leave the area where he was most powerful. For now, he would hold his temper and find out what the cats were doing. "Those beasts are stupid animals but their instincts can be trusted. Show me the dragon," came the curt command. He expected this group to know who he was and to immediately show him the proper level of respect.
