Glaring at Kaiya, Mickey turned her attention away from the other woman. "If they're after us, we have two options," she said to nobody in particular; "We can try to outrun them and get to Parinene, or we can stay here and find out what they want with us, if they even do."

Claw didn't answer Mickey's two options. He didn't want to do either of those- he wanted to get home and sit in front of the TV with Fang or Akito or somebody who wouldn't make him run or talk to whatever was coming. "This is stupid." He muttered "I bet this is something Hari's doing."

"So you're just going to give up?" Mickey was very quickly growing to hate everyone in their group. "It's at least worth trying to get to the city. Personally, I'd rather not get attacked, but to each his- or her- own, I suppose." She turned, continuing on towards Parinene. Who gave a crap if the lazy morons in their group got attacked by whatever was coming towards them?

Bara rolled her eyes before linking arms with kiada and Nariko,"Come on."she said and started to follow after Mickey.
Nariko glanced behind her to see Mickey was moveing agian. The fox knew she could catch up if need be, but she wished to meet these animal like crtures. They were currently the cloest things she could to herself.

Claw followed after Mickey. He was getting hungry, and she was still the only one of his friends with money to buy him food.
"Dragon, show yourself!" The male hissed loudly, taking a few las bounds so that they were in seeing distance of the group. He couldn't spot a lizard-like being among the strange group, but that didn't mean that they didn't know where it was. They carried the smell that the Miattu had been following. "We'll attack! Turn around and face us, humans! Where are you hiding it?!"
Holt was panting heavily as he caught up with the leader of his group. He couldn't see any dragon, either.... Then where was that smell coming from?

Hearing their company, Mickey knew it was too late to try and get away. Once more, she turned around. The odd cat-like creatures were something new for Mickey, but she didn't appear surprised. Of course, upon hearing them mention dragons, Mickey's attention was subcosciously drawn to Kaiya. The half demon knew that stupid little dragon would cause trouble for them.

Kiaya meet Mickeys stare. Dark hadn't been out of the bag once since they camped out before and that was eat. Her and Dark could not be blamed for the cats apperance. Still the dragon kngiht had one hand on her hitl while the other held the bag close to her side.

"Well?" The Miattu demanded again. He rose up onto two legs, and with a flick of his tail siginaled for the rest of the group to not do as he had done. If he needed them to attack, then he'd motion for that, too. "Give up the dragon. It's a threat to the Clan for it to be out of the mountains. Are you smuggling dragon eggs? You can't deny it; the scent's on you." He inhaled deeply, and took another step forward. "It's on all of you, humans."
Holt bit his lower lip. He was being a good boy, staying in a crouched position, ready for attack. Just as soon as the word came... as soon as it came, he'd do jsut that and prove himself to the older Miattu and his mother.
Claw took another step away from the cat-like creatures. "Mickey, you deal with this." he muttered to her.

Mickey stepped up to the front, since nobody in their own group seemed to be doing so, and she didn't want Kaiya to. The half dempon could tell that the creature in the front was their leader by the way he spoke. "With all due respect, Sir, none of us have even been to the mountains. We have been in your world for no more than a few days. Whether or not we have a dragon with us, it wouldn't be from the mountains, nor would it even be from your world." Mickey's speech changed slightly to a more formal one.

"Back off, we are just traveling,"Nariko said in a hiss as she fixed her blood gaze on the cat creature. Though the girl remined in her fox form, which was but a kitten looking thing and not that menaceing though they were luckey she had already fed or she would be unable to remian calm. It was clear there crouths were ones of attack hers was too though.
Kiaya remianed quiet and held the bag close. She would protect her dragon no matter what.

'Not from your world' had caused Holt to flinch. He noted that his mother did, too, as well as some of the other Hunters. The Warriors, though; they were always needed to remain strong.
"You carry the scent of dragon, and from our world or not it's still a threat." The male hissed back at the other party.

"What makes it such a threat?" Mickey knew the answer from what Hari had told them, but she wanted to know if the cat-things had a different opinion.

"He's not a threat so leave us the ******** alone before I skin your hides!"Kiaya snaped. She was sick of these things and sick of Hari too. Dark was harmless and protected the peace of her worlds, she would not allow anyway to say that he was a threat dangerous or anything. She knew Mickey would be mad at her, but she didn't care being formal or calm was not an easy thing for her. No she was mad now, no one would harm her dragon.

The lead Miattu flicked his tail at the rest of the group. His haunches stiffened again, readying for the attack. Even if one of these humans got out of hand, they'd all have to go... They bore the strong scent of the dragon, and that wasn't good news at all. "We'll scalp you if you don't cooperate, or start acting agressive! Dragons have poison mouths, and no part of their body is useful. They're a danger- when we were in the mountains, they'd pick off females and kits for mid-morning snacks."
Holt's shoulders tensed. He rose slightly, obeying the command just as well as any other trained Hunter of Warrior would have done. The young Miattu's sharp blue eyes landed on the pink-headed girl, but then to the girl behind her. That one, that blond one with the sword hilt was acting up the most out of everybody else.
Besides Holt, his mother shivered. If they did have a dragon, then her and her son would be in the most trouble.
Claw watched the cat-like creatures, but he kept quiet. It wasn't his place to talk right now, and anyway, he had nothing to say.
