"DRAGON!" The lead Miattu's head lifted from the sweet grass that they'd been following the trail by. Every muscle in his body tensed under his golden-brown, almost blond pelt, and his head swung back to face the other beasts. "Within attacking distance! GO, GO, GO!" He yelped at them. His head snapped forward and to attention again. A simple flick of the tail instructed for the other seven Miattu to pick up their pace into a sprint, so it would be possible to cover the final distance between them, and where ever (or whatever) bore the scent.
The smell of dragon was so strong now, that Holt's sentensive(sp?) nose was watering at it. There was no dragon in sight up ahead- although there seemed to be a large group of something that smelled just as bad, if not worse. 'I shan't trust my eyes on this!' he thought, picking up his pace as he had been commanded.

((The Miattu can see them, but they're coming up from behind (Downwind, I think...?)))

Nariko's head perked up and she sniffed the air before jumping of Larissa's head and landed behind the woman. Her sharp blood eyes soon found the ones that smelled of the earth and cats. They looked sort of like her neko brother, but with fur all over. Thier movements looked like one of an attack force which made her blueish fur puff up and she hissed in difinance."Guys we had company,"she said while still hissing while her tail flicked back and forth.

They were getting closer and closer to striking distance now, being only a few hundred feet away. "I don't see any dragon!" A smaller, sleeker Miattu called out to the front. Judging by his body shape, it was easy to tell he was more of a Hunter than an actual Warrior. He was use to tracking things- but he wondered if they were so close to the smell, shouldn't they be able to see the body?
"Your eyes lie, not your nose." The lead snarled back to him. This business was far beyond serious now. Since a group of other things appeared to be coming to shape more and more clearly now, he could make out human-like shapes, but still no dragon's. "And my nose is telling me there's a dragon here. We'll search, and if possible, destroy."
Holt's heart was pounding deep in his chest. He'd never traveled this far without a break, but now was definately not the time to stop for one.

"Don't be stupid!" Mickey snapped at Kaiya. "Hari migth be gone, but that doesn't mean you can just forget everything he told you. Keep the damn dragon hidden, and don't hurt them!"

"I was onyl playing, god woman."kiaya said though Dark was already hidden and Kiaya crossed her arms unhappily.
