"They say that the gargoyle moved, this stone statue, brought its arms together in front of it, clenched it's fists, and a loud crack could be heard as it's stone claws broke through the stone flesh of it's palms. Bright red blood dripped from it's hands to the ground at it's feet."

"When the girl awoke, she was tangled in vines, vines that had grown over her in the night. The gargoyle stood there as it had ever, but now it's arms were stretched out to it's sides. The vines bore fruit, deep red, blood-colored fruit, rich and full of juice. There was enough fruit for everyone, and more fruit appeared every day."

"Yes, this fruit only grows where the gargoyle's blood was spilled, even if you save the seeds they will not take in any other soil. Even ten feet away the vine won't grow, if you try to pull the vine out of the ground and plant it elsewhere it will die and turn to ash within a day."

So where is this fabled place?

"Oh no, the chaos has been driven back, it is no longer running unchecked accross the land. The people live a simple and prosperous life, but they remember the lessons they learned, and they do not grow complacent and lazy."

"Thank you... I have many stories, you pick them up in a life of travel. There is more to that particular legend, but that is for another time. Maybe if you ask me some other place and time I will tell it to you."

It starts with a little girl, innocent and niave to the entire world. Her name was Wind, becuase her mother knew that she would be as everchanging and as choatic as the west winds. She was a beautiful little girl full of energy and life. But ever as beautiful, she was destructive...
