The Miattu beasts drawing nearer and nearer to the city. The scent was too heavy to just ignore now. Even if it had just been one of the dragons from Parinene, the monster had still put a too-large toe out of place for the Miattu. If Holt's words were true (as they had been true for a large portion of the time now), then the dragon would have been on the island, too. That was too far a distance from the city to consider the dragon's trip safe.
Their lean musscles rippled under their coats, as the Miattu moved in one close pack.
Claw pouted again. Getting the hotel room was all he was aiming for- but sharing it with Mickey wouldn't have been so bad, either. "You'll be wasting money if you get another room." Claw reasoned to her. "I'm sure there's plenty of room for all us Demon Highers to share just one~"

Mickey didn't pay attention to Claw's response. She had finally realised that Hari was no longer leading the group. Turning her head sharply right, she noticed the man heading east. "Wait!" she called to him, heading away from Claw and towards their guide. "Where are you going this time?!"

Claw gripped onto Mickey's shoulder, trying to stop her from getting away. "Why should it matter to us? He's probably gonna go find more contestants for this stupid game show, for all we know!"

"Away..." the man huffed simply, reigning the animal once more before turning his head to look at the pink-haired girl. "Never have I met such a disrespectful group, and I have been leading people out of this world for many years. Even if I can hold my tounge many times, there's even a limit to Krishna's temper, much less a man's."

Mickey pushed Claw away, continuing towards Hari. "Well, I guess I can't apologize for them, can I?" she asked, more or less rhetorically. There wasn't really anything she could do, was there?

"An apology will not stop the continuing insolence," Hari told her, shaking his head a little. "It's too bad that you and your friends were the ones being good- most of them anyway." Hari took out a small bag, tossing it over towards Mickey, "My thanks for being tolerable. Mercunias is a resort town so you can buy a few suits while you're there. There is also a few rooms that should be reserved for everyone in an inn by the beach."

"Ah, thanks..." Mickey said quietly, catching the bag as it was thrown to her. "But we probably won't get there for months at this rate, you know... And where are you going...?"

Claw kept quiet, but he couldn't help scowling when Hari tossed her the bag. What was in there? Was that where she was getting a supply of money from?! And why wasn't that Hari man sharing with anybody else. The angel wasn't in hearing distance, though, so he couldn't pick up on what the two were talking about.

"There should be a temple dedicated to Krishna about a day to the east. I'm sure they will take me in enough for a night's sleep. Then I will wander around as I have done before everyone appeared," the man smiled, though it was forced, "If we cross paths again, I shall see how far you all have matured as a group and decide if I should rejoin you all then. I'll keep an ear out for the items as well."

"Okay." The half demon couldn't say anything else. She wanted to ask Hari to stay, but she knew he wouldn't. She wanted to ask him to take her with him- she knew she had a better chance of surviving with him than with these idiots- but that wouldn't be fair. However, Mickey also knew that the already dysfunctional group would fall apart even more if left to themselves. Still... what could she do?

"Mickey, get back here!" Claw hollered over to where the girl and the man were speaking. He didn't like when Hari talked to her- he seemed to know just the right things to do, and even worse, the guide was hogging her away from him. "We still haven't figured out my sleeping arrangements!"

"Your friend wants your attention... I'll be seeing you around, hopefully," the man spoke, turning his back towards the east and letting the animal move freely where it wanted once more. He did not have to worry about returning the animal to Yllis since it was, in all rights, his own.

"Bye..." she trailed off, watching for a moment longer as the man went away. Mickey then turned back to Claw, a disgruntled expression on her face. "This is all because of you and that stupid dragon lady. Now we have no guide and no clue what to do."

"Yeah, thanks for screwing us all over," the half demon spoke venomously. She walked away from Claw, heading north, back on course to Parinene.
