The writing on the tombstone intrigued him, but he didn't have the slightest idea of what it meant. "I know Shuppet are said to absorb negative feelings, but I don't know if that makes them the 'spirits of pain' that's referring to," he murmured, referring to Pandora who he had brought along as an afterthought before entering the Tower.
Gin'iro jumped at the strange sound that issued through the Tower, the strange gurgling was certainly an odd sound.
"Now I have no clue what on earth made that sound," Brayden muttered, peering into the gloom of the Tower.

At Days touch the layers of dust on the wall seemed to melt away like fading light, leaving a hole in the wall, just large enough to crawl through. A swarm of Spinarak scurried out and away from the hole, leaving it empty after that. No more than an Ariados nest filled with baby Spinarak.
As the Spinarak went by, Kaya jumped up on the wall and grabbed the bar of a wall mounted lantern. "Not spiders." he shouted as they crawled past him. Most bugs he liked but spiders he couldn't handle. He'd been attacked by a very large Ariados when he was four years old and had been afraid of them ever since.

Nona looked at the spiders, trying to avoid them. She wasn't too fond of them...but not to the degree that Kaya was, but still. She shivered, looking at them. "...well...we have to get through, somehow..."
