Cole sat there for a moment in contemplation. His eyes looking at the ring of flowers around him. Just as the rose Saki had created in her hand, the ring of flowers was equally beautiful. To Cole's knowledge, only a select few demons or even demon hybrids had the gift of creation...
"A blessing and a curse you say... the eternal double edged sword. I for one do not call your gift a curse Saki... very few demons can actually create life. I only know of two presently. You and the one who helped breath ife back into this sacred ground. Not even I have the gift of creation Saki... I only have a bit of healing arts, yet even that is minor compared to your gift. Your very steps leave life in there wake while most demons leave destruction. I'll even wager that it was your father who bestowed that gift upon you."
Cole reached out his hand and plucked one of the flowers from the ring and placed it gentle on Saki's right ear so that it held her bang back. He smiled at her once more as he leaned over to whisper into her ear softly...
"Now as for being alone, you will never feel alone again a long as you are here. All will accept you for who you are. There is no need to hide yourself within these walls Saki."

Saki smiled. "Its still... weird; trying to explain to someone why flowers are growing through the tiles of the house. I never took my shoes off except when i took a bath, and then...." she couldn't stiffle a giggle.
"Water lilies woud grow in the water." She looked up at Cole, inclining her head. "but it's different..." She turned her back to Cole, taking a few steps towards the lake. "Healing dead plants is different than healing wounded people." She held out her arm to her side and spueezed the rose so that the thorns slashed her hand, the blood trickling in small streams.
When she opened her hand, the rose was only crumbled petals, but the blood flowed from non existent wounds. "I can only heal myself," she said. "I tried it... once... on someone else...." she shook her head, looking att her hand. Then she clutched her closed hand to her chest as she looked back at Cole. "It didn't go so well."

Walking over to Saki, Cole placed his hands on her shoulder gently and looked into her eyes and smiled softly.
"It isn't easy to heal another as it is to heal oneself. Even I had trouble when I first learned healing arts. Even as old as I am, I still can not heal wounds that are too great. Talent and skill all come with time and practice Saki. I'm willing to bet with training and some time, you could even heal others. If not only with herbs from the plants you grow."
Once again Cole smiled at her as he gazed into her eyes. While he looked at her, his eye shifted once more to a different color, this time they became a deep forest green.

Saki looked at him wondrously and shut her eyes as she shook her head. "That's going to take some getting used to," she said, motioning at his eyes.

Takara467 A moment later, Takara resurfaced right behind Tochi, playfully jumping him. Tochi Turned as he heard her leave the water and caught her. Before he knew what was happening, he leaned his head forward and kissed her.

Takara froze in surprise, then disappeared, having teleported away on instinct. She reappeared on the shore, her cheeks hotly blushing. She sat down, actually her knees collapsed, and she kept her gaze on the ground as she wrung out her hair with slightly trembling hands.
That was....rather sudden....Though, I felt a spark of something, some familiarity. I just can't grasp any memories...

Tochi hung his head. He screwed up. But it was Takara. He stood in the water, not knowing if he should go to her. So he just stood.

Takara finally looked up to the spot where Tochi was, at least where she had left him. She gave a small, reassuring smile.
"Sorry, I was just startled that's all. Don't worry about it..."
I know you loved the one called Takara in the past, but that girl is now gone....
"Umm...Say, is there a library here?..."

Tochi smiled slightly. "Yes, there is, But I would dry off before you enter. No one likes the smell of a wet book."

Takara smiled in return, "That's a good idea." She felt around with her hands, looking for her staff. As her hands closed about the smooth wood, she stood, summong a warm, southernly wind that blew about the two of them, drying them off. She'd discovered this newfound power after she'd woken. She then questioned Tochi of the whereabouts of the library, having no idea of the teleportation spell.
"Would you be so kind as to show me the library?..."

Saki_Akatsu Saki looked at him wondrously and shut her eyes as she shook her head. "That's going to take some getting used to," she said, motioning at his eyes. Cole looked at Saki confused for a moment, then dawning crossed his face. He realized that his eyes had shifted color again and so changed them back to normal... "Sorry, my eyes tend to do that on there own sometimes depending upon my emotions..."

Aideki found herself staring down at her cutlass; her hand had grown limp unknowingly as if she were falling asleep. Oh, yeah, maybe she was falling asleep. Of course, aftering gathering her conscious self up again, she swallowed, blinked, then stretched. She had never fallen asleep without the previous awareness of being tired. It made her frustrated... But hell, alright. She put away her cutlass and whet stone, then rolled out onto her back and stretched out in the hazey emerald green of the grass. She stared a moment into the over hanging limbs of the trees, her crimson opals darkened-hued, and then rolled over onto her side and drifted of to where her will would take her. I have become the tortured whispered some inside voice, bland and sarcastic sounding. Aideki chuckled to herself, an easy smile creasing her lips before it faded away with her consciousness. Hell to you, elf...

Aideki was asleep for a little while, when, out of nowhere she blinked away as if plucked from existance. All that was left was the imprint of her body in the grass, and her short elven dagger which she had failed to secure into the inner workings of her jacket.

Tochi Slowly put out his arm and gently guided her to the pagoda. after a few minutes they arrived in the library. He knew it would be quicker to teleport, and that's precicly why he didn't. He Wanted to see more of her, and the longer he could rationalise spending with her, the better.
