Kraiser moved in closer and starred at the small flame Maddy had created. "You like fire huh? That's a good skill to know. Here, watch this!" Krauser snapped his fingers and a large billowing flame appeared in his hand. "Creating fire requires the most concentration...The fact that you can even congure a flame that size show's great skill, but it takes years to master..." The flame in Krauser's hand began to change colors, from a dark red, to a cool light blue, to a warm green, and many others.

"Careful little girl, push yourself too hard too early and you might get hurt..." Krauser extinguished the flame. He laughed and moved back.

Drake interrupted waving his hands. "It has nothing to do with that Maddy! High level techniques put too much strain on a mind and body not trained or prepaired for it! You could get hurt badly or even die!"

Krauser laughed slightly. "Behave huh? Well that's quite the..." Krauser's eye's widened and suddenly his head was engulfed in flame, it quickly spread over his body. He fell to his side, feverishly beating the flames with his hands trying to get them off, it only made the flames stronger. Krauser was screaming bloody murder. Drake sat with a bored stare, looking at Krauser's flailing body on the ground. He snickered slightly.

Drake sighed. "No Maddy, it's not you...This is his favorite trick to pull...Knock it off Krauser." Krauser stopped flailing on the ground and sat up he began to laugh. The flames cleared away from his head, he was fine, not a scratch on him. "Sorry Drake, I couldn't help but to see if she'd panic and fall for it!" Krauser stood up and the flames vanished from his body. "Why? Did she think she was able to something so complex so soon? Besides, I'm immune to the sting and burn of fire."

Krauser laughed. "Awww, I'm sorry. I know you don't like me, but it's not my fault fire can't kill me! But it can kill Drake!"
Drake stood up in protest. "LOOK! Just because I can revive myself doesn't mean you can keep killing me! I need a replacement body and I don't see one around right now!" Krauser stood up and dusted himself off. "It'd be easy to find one..." Krauser smiled sincerly at Maddy. "Go ahead Maddy! Give it a shot! We can always grab another meat bag of a soldier for Drake to use to come back in!" Drake shook his head. "But! Being killed doesn't tickle! It's a very odd feeling and I really don't like abusing that perticular power!! I'm tired of looking at my own corpse when I come back!!" Drake sounded like he was pleading to Maddy. He hoped she wasn't too curious about his special power.

Krauser scratched his head and looked at Drake. "It's not my fault she doesn't have a sense of humor!!" Drake sighed and walked passed Krauser. He walked up behind Maddy and put his hands on her sholders. "I'd like to apoligize for Krauser's behavior...But he's only know how to be a soldier, social graces aren't his strong suit. In his own way what he just said, was an apology." Drake smiled, she could see his reflection in the window.
