Alex lay in his bed and listened to the conversation going on between Yuki and Drakul. He was happy that they seemed to be getting along now.
He doubted Yuki would ever talk to him again though. Not after what he did.

Drakul sighed and layed his head against Yuki's shoulder.
"I know, but he just went crazy once he found out.
Everything was my fault..
Even if it was something not involving me..
I guess that's why I always get upset so easily, or if I do something wrong..
Because for a while, I tried to do things right to make him happy, but it never worked for long."
He laid down, listening to the noises outside and in the house.
"I think Alex is awake again..
Think we should go check on him?"

Yuki kissed Drakul on his forehead. "You can't please everyone. Don't try so hard. You can check on Alex... I'm staying away from him..."

Drakul smiled as he got up.
"Guess I'll go check on him by myself then.
Just, don't try anything suspicious while I'm gone."
He walked out of his room, towards Alex's, wondering how he felt now.

"Have fun with that..." Yuki pulled the blanket over his head and went back to sleep.

Alex heard Drakul coming towards his room and he closed his eyes pretending to be asleep. He didn't know if he was ready to see anyone. He just wanted to be alone. Life was easier for him when he was alone.

Drakul walked up to Alex's bedroom door, noticing his eyes were closed still.
He thought it'd be better if he didn't bother him.
He pulled out the pencil and pad of sticky notes that was in his pocket.
On one, he wrote:
"Alex, hopefully things can be easier for you now.
Yuki and I seem to be getting along, so you shouldn't have to look after us as much."
He stuck it on his door and went downstairs to sit on the couch, pulling out and lighting up a cigarette.
Smoking helped to calm his nerves, and forget bad memories for a while.

Alex quietly got out of bed and took the note off the door. He was glad they were getting along. He doubted Yuki would be that forgiving though.
He walked over to the nightstand and pulled out a pen. He turned the note over and wrote, "Drakul, I'm glad to hear that. Maybe you can put in a good word for me? The sooner the better..." He folded the note and walked over to the stairs. He didn't feel like going down there. He threw the note and it landed by the couch. He was hoping Drakul would notice it. He walked back into his room.

Drakul watched as the note fell near him.
After taking a drag of his cigarette, he walked over and picked it up and read what Alex had said.
He pulled out another note and his pencil.
"Heh, will do.
Though, I don't know if Yuki will start liking you again any time soon.
I'll try, though."
After finishing his cigarette, he walked back upstairs, sticking the note on Alex's door again, waiting outside for another response.

Alex opened the door and looked at Drakul. He took the note. "Just do your best. Even if he doesn't like me... I just want him to be able to feel safe here." He patted Drakul on the head and went back to his room.

Drakul smiled and nodded.
"Will do, Sir Alex."
He walked back to his room to find Yuki asleep on the floor again.
He sat back on his bed, looking at him, finally sleeping peacefully.

Yuki woke up and saw Drakul asleep. He figured now would be a good time to try and leave again. He quietly stood up and tip toed to the window. He slowly opened it. There was a loud creaking noise. He glanced over to the bed to see if Drakul heard.

Alex heard the window in Drakul's room open. He didn't bother though. He had a feeling Drakul would hear and stop Yuki.

Drakul opened his eyes, not having been asleep.
"Aw, do you have to leave, Yuki?
It was fun having you stay in here with me."
He smiled and walked over to him, closing the window behind him.
"Please don't try this again."

Yuki frowned at Drakul. "I'm sorry... Just thinking about Alex just freaks me out. It's not you. I don't want to be in the same state as him..."
