In a tone she never used before, kinda small, queit and fearful (Completely unlike her) she whispered back, biting her lip and looking at him understandingly. "Perhaps..." She slid one of her hands to a button on his shirt, opening and closing it playfully. Playing with buttons always enjoyed her.

Maia still looked kind of frightened at the eyes outside and just messing with it made her fear slightly ebb. Swallowing again, Maia looked back at him. "Are you really sure...?" she asked again, her voice even queiter. She backed away, playing with the pendant of her necklace instead while pacing around the room.

Maia wedges her fingers between the pendant, the shape of a cross and a heart in the middle. She sighed, touching each edge tenderly and looking down at it. This is the first time she ever seemed this fidgety.

Maia swallowed, seeing the eyes through the curtains of the windows again. She looked down at him, her amber eyes wide. "We're all going to die here..."

Maia smiled in delirious fear. "This won't protect you for long." she whispered, shivering again. "They need me....they need me now." Her voice was monotonous almost under a spell. "I need to go..." She stood up, walking drunkenly towards the door, and staggered out the door in plain sight of whatever was after her. It could've just been her imagination again but this time it wasn't.

Audrey shook her head laughing gently. "No, not really." She looked around and could gaze out of the back window. She could catch glimpses of the rose garden and grinned at this. "It's been a while."
