She could hear his gargles of blood as he choked and coughed, her eyes fell upon him calmly. "You over exhert yourself to much..." She reached out her heand to his own. "Be still..." her eyes remained locked unto his, a eerie sound was able to be only heard by him and her as long as they remained connected. The floor beneath Belg lit up rapidly a large glyph appearing in multiple hue lights, Belg's body was being engulfed in light, her gate was offering him it's own healing powers.
But alas the wounds from her own bruised arms and body began to trickle out blood slowly, though... she did not flinch.... she did not scream, she could only consentrate on her objective. And slowly she pulled her fingers away from his hand with a smile.

Ryuthe appeared at his shoulder with a warning coo. The black winged cat creature began to tug at the back of his collar, urging him to move backwards. Theblue jewel on its forhead glinted in anticipation of danger. Even it was nervous, but as always, echoeing its keeper's true emotions. ------------------------
Riyoku took a small route through a breach in an old brick wall. Her mind raced for a solution. Ryuthe had been gone longer than was needed... was something wrong?

He made his way back to the door where he left the mark. "What are you still doing here? There are a few sweeper clones wandering around. Laseguns drilling into the ground isn't my idea of safety." He paused, looked at her again. Familiar...then he remembered. The girl at the firing range, the one he had fired at.
"Sweeper clones. Heavily armored in search-and-destroy gear. Pretty dangerous. Now let's go."
He searched his memory for the name...he had looked at the base's roster and photo-images. Nickname was "X"...but the full name didn't appear in his memory.
He started out the door, again, the stopped and said, "Well? Are you coming or not, X?"
He was speaking more than he usually did. He wondered why. "Yeah, I know what they call you. And in case you don't know, call me Styx."
Styx, in ancient Greek mythology, the river that seperated the living from the dead. The river of hate, the river of binding oath. He thought it something of a fitting name...like a jacket whose sleeves are a little too long, but otherwise fine.

Riyoku stood as still as a statue, despite his urging. Her eyes looked right through him, as if he didn't exist. And with those calculation eyes, she beckoned for him to come again, before it was too late.
"Summon 17.2..." Her gate exploded into light before her hands, the remaining four creatures of her gate erupting from it with a fierce power, aiming for a spot apart from both of them. Riyoku's eyes appeared to glow with the light of her gate. Mireille returned first, and she bonded with the wolven creature to advance her strength and accuracy. Shirame returned second to lend her speed and agility. The infamous pistols raised and fired in a blur. In 15 seconds, the smoke filled ring was void of life but the two.
The girl glid away silently, glancing over her shoulder once with a message to follow, and headed towards the HQ through a path nearly forgotten.

((Sorry, I didn't think I'd get that much work this week))
Only a moment ago, he had been drowning in his own blood. In a flash of lgiht, he stood clutching his neck, taking in deep bites of air. She had saved his life.
His lungs full of air again, Belg returned to his feet and looked down at his savior. So her gate was strong. Strong enough to heal such a wound with speed. He could only imagine how hard she had tried to save everyone.
Picking up where he had left off, Belg out-stretched an arm and pointed left , his arm trembling like a leaf on the wind. "The mess-hall is down the hall, to you're leftt." He thought for a moment, seeing if there was a better way to pu it. "And thank you for saving my life. If you need any help, just ask." And before she could speak a word, he had left, not following his own direction.

She watched him walk away, as he dissapeared from her sight she turned her own back taking the opposite way in which he directed. "My new goal..." She began to talk to herself quietly in her head. "My new goal is to overcome my illness...and become become a more powerful Gate User... to max out my power...a full-fledged Gatest."
She paused closing her eyes, "Then maybe I wont have to be able just to save one life anymore..."

"How did I get so weak? Nothing makes sense!" Belg quietly stepped through the empty halls, wondering aloud to himself. "Night after night I relive flashing visions of me shooting X, and I endure them, but why is that I am still so weak?!"
He plunged his fist into a steel wall, leaving a very obvious dent. "What's happening to me?" He took a deep breath. "Shouldn't get myself to hyped up, she's not here to save me this time."
He had slowly made his way to the main gates. One more step and he'd be in the open, vulnerable to a Perfect attack without his gate. He looked out before him and let it sink in. The desert of reality. Buildings seemed to crumble without moving, giving the eerie feeling that the world would end in a moment. Belg stared, eyes glazed as he stared at his reflection. It was as if the world mirrored his state; Old and dying.
Lost in thought, the cracking of gun fire in the distance hardly phased him.

There it was again, the old blue dumpster. Then it was somewhat repulsive; now it was his salvation. The hole in his shoulder didn't help his situation much, and neither did the knowledge that he was up against six sweeper clones, all armored save for the eyes, which were the most vulnerable part of them.
All he had with him was his trusty knife and his stealthy .23 pistol, one useless and the other nearly useless. A .23 could barely dent the armor of a sweeper. He would have to aim quickly and accurately to take a single clone down. He waved the tip of his jacket into view, and he pulled it back in, sans tip. No chance with the .23 at all. He had no flashbangs, and they wouldn't work anyway; the sweeper goggles and gear would filter out the light and sound.
That left his gate. It would definately draw attention to the area, but it was also his only chance. But he didn't have enough blood left in his system, and he didn't have any pouches on him either. He was trapped. Utterly trapped. Go for broke.
He dipped his finger into the blood from his shoulder, and traced a line from there to his palm. Electricity crackled around him as he began to summon his gate.
((Riyoku Sakimori...rusty pink fork...oro?))

He crossed his palms so that the blood on one palm was hidden by the back of his other hand, pressed together. "Summon 324.6, Voltaices!"
A fine, thick mist of claret rode along the small stream of blood traced from his shoulder and down to his palms. The air crackled with static electricity, and the diamond of his gate opened wide. Out stepped a creature born of energy, in the shape of a massive standing salamander. The dumpster essentially blasted apart as the salamander-creature struck it with its tail.
He directed a thought to the salamander, and it obeyed. Nearby, the streetlights flickered, then exploded, and the sweeper clones's equipment were fried by the electromagnetic pulse.
He felt pain, searing his shoulder and piercing his heart, as the blood was sucked out of his body by his own gate. But he had to ignore that pain to have any hope of living. He directed yet another thought to the creature, destroy them.
It returned to its home, having finished its master's bidding.
Styx dragged himself away from the bodies of the Perfects, and crawled into the closest door to wait.

((Sorry havnt posted in a while, I was waiting for the right chance to interact with people...but nothing... -.-;;; I have to speak up... we need to start interacting, otherwise the RP will die. @.@;; ))
Saikoubi moved over into a hall with lockers flooding each side of the halls. In her hand was a small torn off peice of paper with two numbers on it in green ink. She began to walk down the hall of lockers searching one particular side for the number. She had found it rather quickly and opened it just as fast, her eyes widened, inside were new weapons replacing her old ones, a note taped to the locker door, "These are for you." She reached inside for the new katana given to her. Her old one had been crushed by the machines on the beach...she examined it quickly and sheathed it at her back with the two guns encased in holsters. She was finally equipped.
Before she closed the locker door she looked down at one of her arms... the bruises were fading, and the wounds healing, leaving her flesh almost as good as new. She closed the door with a slam then turned heading to her next destination.
