"On one small condition. I sleep in the dancer quarters." He said squeezing the man's hand as he stared at him with cold eyes. The man rolled his eyes, "fine fine, sleep where you vant, but you get good, or I toss you in da ocean. I don't feed no slackers. Aye boys!! WE GOT TWO NEWBIES!!" He bellowed passed Meris. As a couple man and women peeked in the room, the ringmaster turned back to Meris, "You two got names? Ah screw it we give you new ones anyways." He laughed deeply and shook Meris's hand, "You will be the Inu the Flying Dog and you will be the mystical unicorn... meh I think of better names later." He waved them off with a sigh, "Go party now, but I work you hard in the morning."
Several members of the troop came in and took them too the campfire, offering them food and drink, but Meris just stuck close to Uni. He was somewhat friendly as to not be rude, but he was obviously lost in thought.
Night I need sleep.))

Uni looked over to Meris with a slight smile as they were told Meris could sleep in the same place as himself. But he soon jumped a bit back as the ringmaster suddenly yelled out to the others outside. Now a bit tense, Uni followed everyone to the campfire, though he was almost completely silent the whole night. Not drinking or eating anything, just staying close to Meris.

Meris remained contimplatively for most of the night, but eventually he pulled himself out of his thoughts enough to place his arm around Uni's shoulder and smiled at him. "Hey, feeling okay with this?" His smile was gentle; he'd been thinking about how good was the 'deal' they were getting and was being suspious of the man with which they had done their dealings. They were definatly outnumbered if somthing like a fight were to break out and the man despite his friendly exterior shouldn't be trusted. Meris didn't share these fears because it might have just been his distrustful nature and he didn't want to worry Uni.

Uni jumped a bit as Meris had put his arm around his shoulder. He looked to Meris with wide eyes but his eyes soon softened down. "Y-yeah.." He looked away and down to the ground slightly, he was suspisious of the man also and he hoped he wouldn't be left in a room alone with him. "Can we.. go sleep?"

"I don't see why not." Meris smiled warmly at Uni and reached up to pat his head. The raccoon leaned back and tugged on one of the dancer's coats as she passed by and asked her where they were suppose to sleep. She smiled kindly enough and motioned for the pair to follow them.
Meris bit his lips and looked over at Uni, "I don't think she was the ablity to speak, but we should go." He let his hand fall down over Uni and squeezed it before moving the follow the girl to a red brightly color wooden wagon, trimmed with silver.

Uni smiled lightly to Meris before standing up slowly and dusting himself off a bit, though he had no need to his clothes merely cleaned itself in a moment anyways. He than followed behind Meris and the dancer to the brightly coloured wagon. He looked at the wagon oddly before looking down to Meris, waiting for him to go in first.

((sorry I was trying to balance my cell phone and type at the same time.)) Meris followed the girl in and looked around the dimmly lit wagon which was filled with trunks and hammocks made from canvas and a thick net of rope. The girl who had gone in before them touch a hand to a pair of beds and handed them both a pillow before heading back outside, leaving the two alone. The raccoon sighed and ran his fingers through his hair, "You sure your alright with all this?" He asked as he eyed up their new digs.

Uni followed silently into the wagon and looked around the inside dully. It wasn't as bright as one would have thought by looking at the outside, but that was the same with the ringmasters wagon. He than took the pillow from the lady and started to walk towards his bed untill meris spoke. He turned to him slowly before putting a small smile on his face. "Y-yeah.. It's fine.. Don't worry."

Meris looked at Uni skeptically. "Are you sure about that? You've seemed shaky ever since." He stepped up onto a small trunk and took a latern down to bring it closer to Uni's face. "Is there anything wrong you want to speak with me about? Anything?"

Uni smiled a bit, trying to show there was nothing wrong, though there obviously was. "There is nothing wrong Meris. Now can you please just drop the subject?" He sighed after speaking and looked away from Meris. He than continued to the bed and sat down on the edge of it, holding the pillow in his arms still.

"Okay..." Meris said quietly and sat there for a moment not really sure what to do. He stood there chewing his lower lip and looking at Uni, thinking he should ask again, but he didn't want to make Uni madder than he figured he already had. Eventually he just jumped into the hammock above Uni, curling up in the net and canvas with his pillow over his head.

Uni layed down eventually, putting the pillow under his head, and stared up at the hammock Meris was in. He wasn't mad at meris he just didn't want to tell meris what was wrong. He felt a little bad now as he looked away from the hammock, 'Maybe I should have just told him.. its not like its that big a deal..' He thought as short sigh escaped his lips.

Meris peeked over the side of the canvas, but seeing Uni staring up at him he quickly blushed and ducked back over the side again, so that the only thing sticking out over the side was his tall ears.

Uni smiled a bit as he saw Meris peak out than duck and hide. After a moment he noticed the ears sticking out and he couldn't help but reach up and bat one of them gently a couple times before lowering his hand back down to his side.

The sudden touch spooked Meris so badly that he jumped and upset the hammock cause it to bouce and twist. It turned and he suddenly found himself falling out as the material turned. Before he knew it Meris dug his claws into the canvas and ended up spinning around with it so he was hanging upside down. "Ahhh!" He sat there hanging on for dear life clutching his bed.
