 Reko wanted to keep his mouth shut, just get to the place this guy wanted to go and prove him wrong, he was pissed off enough as it was. it didn't take much for him to notice Kairi's daughter glancing over at him every so often, making him wonder just what was drain her attention to him and not the p***k talking to her mother. finally he couldn't hold it in much longer and turned waiting for her to glance over again. "your the only one here who hasn't given me a reason to be pissed at you, but your quickly making your way there. if you have something to say to me then say it, its gonna bug the hell out of me if you keep glanging over at me the entire way...."

Graed saw how far Rathe and the others had gotten and sighed, patting Aarec's back to signal the wolf that it was time to move. "If you're going to pop out no matter where I go you might as well come along," he told Amari. He tried one last time to get the guard to stay behind. "But you'll probably have a hard time keeping up in all that bulky getup you guards seem to enjoy wearing."

its a dream, its not real.....
 Amari stands up and quikcly goes to catch up with them, turning to Graed and sticking out her tongue as she jumps with no problem despite the armor. "i'm use to the weight thank you, and to be honest its never been heavy.... except for the first day i got it. then mom went out and washed it...." she puts a finger to her lip trying to think. "but how would that make it lighter...."

"You may want to keep an eye on those two," Renos said so only Kairi could hear, nodding the back of his head slightly towards Reko and Jennie. "If he's anything like the *real* Reko... well, I'm sure you can figure the rest out yourself. And your daughter is at the age when girls want to get guys to look at them." Raising his voice he shouted to Reko and Jennie, "Get your rears in gear, we don't have time to stand around flirting. And be on your guard in a few miles, we'll be entering the area where thieves, mercenaries, and killers roam wild." Without waiting for a response he pulled out the note again and studied it. If Rafe were here he'd be able to identify whose this is... and we'd be able to find whoever it was sooner....

Renos sighed and put the note away, instead, reaching for his pack and grabbed Vladimir's book. He opened it up, studying the text again as the group walked. After several frustrating minutes, all he managed to get out of it were three lines at the end, but these gave him a shock more than he had gotten from finding out the book's hidden secret. He flipped through the notes he had scrolled on some spare parchment he'd stuck to the back and stared at the text in the book again. Hastily he pricked one of his fingers and sharpened his nails to the point where he could dip one into the blood and use the nail to write as well as a quill could, and began scribing the newest lines down. When he finished he reread the entirety of what he had deciphered.From the secret journal of Vladimir
They are at it again. The Ancients's war with themselves is steadily destroying our world. Already we have lost one of our countries to their destruction. Again, there was that name that he couldn't read...---------, where many of my friends lived, has been torn from the continent and either sunk to the bottom of the sea or transported far from its old home. I fear that humanity may well fall before these demons' rage...
What is surprising though is that there are those who are aiding in the Ancients' fight! Thorval's followers are giving up their lives for him, and even waging war on those under Krekot's rule! It is a sad day for humanity when we fight amongst each other rather than our oppressors. Perhaps Jager was correct. Perhaps mankind is a lost cause. But no. I cannot let myself be dragged into my friend's pessimistic thoughts. If only there were a way to defeat the Ancients.Renos almost stopped in his tracks at the name in the newest bit he had deciphered. Jager. Renos reread the text five times, trying to make sure he got it right. He had. Jager? As in THE Jager? The one who almost ended the world 6 decades ago? That Jager?! He and Vladimir were friends?! He let the blood dry before sticking the parchment back into the book and snapped it shut before anyone could see it and shoved it back into his pack. His heart was pounding, he couldn't wrap his head around what he'd just read.Inside the bag, unseen by anyone, the stone in the center of the book began to shine red in a slow pulsing rhythm before going dark again

Kairi looked behind her at Reko and Jennie. "Yeah I'm starting that think I should have left her back home over seas." She said for only Renos's ears and then Saud louder "Let's go Jennie, your grandma will kill me if anything happened to you." Kairi was alittle behind Renos and stepped in next to him not fully trusting him when she felt the air around him change and his heart beat faster. Kairi gave him a side ways glance. She touched the medallion coker as if touching her neck but said nothing as of now it was none of her business she stopped her self from looking in to his mind. She watches the road a head of them. She made a note to keep an eye on Renos more so then what Reko and Jennie was saying behind them.
Jennie was taken by what Reko said. ''I ment not to make you made. It's only I'm studying you is all. You are something new and only been trying to find out if you are a good thing or bad, and if you really mean to find the man my mom has been looking for, for years. But I will not look at you again if it makes you get pissy.'' She gave a small smile showing alittle of her perfect teeth , before walking forward in step behind her mother never losing the way she walked. She was a true princess though and though and just looking at her you can feel her power roll off her.
(Sorry short... I'm on my phone this maybe how I get on here for now got a lot going on then I though I would but I will be posting tales once a day or I will try as long as I have service to get online)

Reko stood for a moment shocked by the answer she gave. he had expected something like a sharp tongue and a retort about his shabby looks, but what he heard was what his mom had tried to teach him. polite words, educated reasoning, obidiance. all of it had been lost on him, mostly just because there was too much to remember and none of it was very comfortable. "i'm not gonna be your science project damn it, if you have to know something ask!" he yelled after them keeping the distance between them, they seemed to enjoy that p***k's company more than his so they can keep it that way. he just couldn't wait till they actually got in the wastelands and something would finally knock thos two girls off their high horse. "how did i end up with two princesses, and a p***k with his head up his own a**...." he ask himself hoping to get this over with soon.

It took them a few hours to reach the badlands. "Everyone stick close," Renos warned. "Snowbrat, you get up at point with me, Graed, you and Aarec take the rear, guard, you and Kairi watch our sides, am I clear?"

Reko casually walks up to the front with Rathe, holding his hands behind his head. "you really thing somethings gonna happen here?" he says sweeping his arm across the area before them. "i mean look at this place, you really think there is anything here that would be a challenge to.... well me atleast."

Amari tried to stay in the center of them not having heard any placement for her. the white haired boy, Reko, seemed confident but what she saw said otherwise. she didn't want to say anything at first knowing it would be difficult to explain she just KNEW what was going to happen. "um... ecuse me but you should really-" Reko just raised a hand and waved her off, which lasted just long enough for the ground under him to give way and collapse under him. he barely caught onto the edge of the pit that would have dropped him into the floor lined with spikes. Amari twittled her pointerfingers together looking down. "i tried to warn him....."

Renos shook his head and reached down, pulling the Snowbrat up. "This place is riddled with traps, be careful where you step and trust your instincts." Once Reko was up he answered his question. "It's called strategy, something I'd have expected your mother to teach you," Renos replied. "As for thinking something will happen? Take a look around. We have three women with us, two of whom are clearly of higher status; a wolf that could fetch a high price on the black market; two younger males who look like they can be used for amusement in slavery and forced fights; and a man with rare weapons and equipment. And I doubt I need to explain what those out here would be more than likely to do to the women, or has you mother not explained the birds and bees to you yet."

Jennie is wearing this with flats hair half way up))ღ Jennie wanted to speak back at him but she didnt even look at him as she followed her mother realizing the three that joined them where the ones that was in her version. When Renos told each to take a spot around the group Jennie joined the other female she did not know in the middle because she was not told where to go. She didn't laugh or anything when Reko fell, but only said "She is right she did warn you." She then looked at the female and added "Guys they don't know how to listen" She watched Renos help Reko out of the hole.
ღ Kairi waited for Renos to get done talking and then added to what he said "We are not helpless Renos just because of what title we have, but I do see your point. But can we move on, If he can not learn to listen or take warning as what they are... warning, then he should have stay back home." Kairi felt eyes on them but nothing was out in the open. And nothing was showing itself... yet. Kairi keep her eyes on the road's side then on the group.

"Oh, I know you can handle yourself princess, there is no doubt in my mind that anyone from Alexandra's line wouldn't be able to defend themselves. But there are those around here with Damn B- with Howitz's strength, and the more determined of the others are likely to be a hassle and easily swarm us. Trust me, the promise of a woman, ones like you and your daughter, to break in can motivate even the lowest in ranking of those here. Anyone we come across is more likely to go after you three than anyone else, your daughter I'm guessing would be their first choice, but knowing how much of a fighter you are, they would love the chance to break you too."
