Alister looked up at Bernard before smiling. "No. I came to see Cousin Yvonne. Is she home?"
Yvonne got up and went to the door. "Hey, Alister. You got bigger, and I see you're getting smarter." She looked up to see if Therad was with him, but didn't see him. "Where's your father and Alinese? Did you run off again?"
Alister smiled. "I'm playing chase with Daddy!" He smiled as Yvonne picked him up. "Hide me!"
Yvonne laughed softly and looked at Bernard. "Oh, that's right. You haven't seen him since he was a baby. This is Alinese's son, Alister."

-Bernard looked in Alister's eyes and nodded-
Yep, that's definitely Alinese's child.
-He turned to Yvonne-

Yvonne smiled at Bernard. "Nah. W should go hand him over." She smiled at Alister's face, laughing. "I'm just kidding. Hide wherever you want."
Alister smiled and leaped out of her arms, running to the spare closet that was used for extra storage, hidding in the corner and peeking out of the door so he could see his father come in when he got here.

-Bernard smiled and turned to Yvonne-
Something tells me that I won't be able to keep a straight face during this whole encounter, so I'm going to go make some dinner for the two of us, and make sure there's a little extra, just in case.
-Bernard walked into the kitchen happily-
-No sooner had Bernard left the room was there a hastened knock on the door-

Yvonne answered the door, smiling at Therad. "Hello, Therad. What can I do for you?"
Alister crawled into the corner of the closet, holding in a giggle. It hadn't really occured to him that his father could simply sniff him out until now, and he blinked in surprise.

-Therad smiled softly as he could smell Alister had been in there recently, but he decided to play along-
Hello Yvonne, a pleasure to see you again. I have been chasing after my son, and I followed his scent here. Is there a possibility that he could have snuck in and hidden amongst your things?
-He winked at Yvonne to let her know he knew and was planning to play along-

Yvonne thought falsely before smiling. "I haven't seen him. You're welcome to come and look if you want. Bernard was just starting to make dinner, too." She moved aside to let him in, sitting on the couch and watching Therad with a fake curious look on her face before turning her gaze to Bernard, whom she could see through the large window thing into the kitchen.
Alister blinked, thinking he'd fooled his father. He let out a quiet giggle as he climbed carefully onto the shelf above him, hiding inside a box full of unused sketchbooks.

-Therad smiled and bowed, then slowly and carefully examined the room, looking behind things and then heading to the kitchen to see Bernard, and conversed with him silently about what he was planning and Bernard grinned happily at the idea, then walked out as if everything was fine-
Yvonne, Therad has gotten hungry from his search for his son, would it be ok if I made extra for Therad to join us as well?

Yvonne smiled and nodded. "Dinner for three. I like the sound of that." She looked up at Bernard. "As long as I get you alone tonight."
Alister grabbed the side of the box and looked out, not seeing a shadow near the closet door. He leaned forward to try and get a better look, but the box tipped forward and he fell out onto the floor. "Ow!!" He hugged his knee and looked at it, seeing the floor burn.

-Bernard looked over and tilted his head and a sweat drop went down his face-
I guess it will be four tonight, then.
-Therad rushed over and reached into his pouch and got out herbs to heal and protect against infection-
Oh dear, well I suppose the fun will have to stop till after dinner...

Alister looked up at his father and began to cry softly. He hugged his dad around the neck and buried his face in his chest softly.
Yvonne looked in the closet and smiled softly. "Are you okay, Alister?"
"Yes...."

-Therad picked up Alister in his arms softly and gently rubbed his back, quietly shushing him-

Yvonne smiled, following Bernard into the kitchen and hugging his waist from behind. "I always wanted a family of my own. Purely because kids are so adorable." She spoke without thinking, and her face turned a bright red. "I-I mean....Not that I'd want one now....Not that I wouldn't mind....Er....I, uh...." She ran into their bedroom and slammed the door loudly, leaning against the wall.

-Bernard blushed when Yvonne hugged his waist, blushed more when Yvonne mentioned having kids, and felt horrible when she ran off so quickly. He finished getting the spaghetti ready and put the sauce on with meatballs, and then phased through the walls as he walked to his and Yvonne's room. He Opened the door, pulled Yvonne into his arms, and whispered in her ear sweetly-
Let me answer "Yes" before you run off next time...I would love to have a kid to, but I would suggest we have a wedding first, since we are already engaged...
-Therad smiled as he held Alister, as he heard what they were saying in the other room-

Yvonne blushed softly and looked up at him, smiling. "When did you get so tall?" She laughed softly, kissing him softly before resting her head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat. "I know, love."
