So please don't take my sunshine away... It began that way, then moved more towards Foundation business... BUT we still would love to see it become a more active RP where as well.

you know... we should hold lil' RP parties, though along the lines of a tea party. We can set up schedules where we all can go online, hold it here or even in Gaia towns. We could also vote on topics to talk about though, it doesn't have to be the topic the whole time.
Or like generalized tea parties.
It can be set on a daily, and people can just come and go when they please.
I thought about making a guild just for such events. -nods-
Could be part book club, part collaborative writing session, etc.
Oh and thought about a fully commisioned tarot deck from different Gaian artistst?

Tarot decks by commissioned Gaian artists? Too expensive!
At the moment we are doing the Community Quest Pool. First up is Nolah for a Ninja Headband. Its going very well so far.
We are primarily receiving daily chance things, and a few other donations that all add up. I believe she started with just over 16K and now its over 129K. Hoo.

I doubt I'll be active in RPs, where you all seem to live in a timezone where you're all able to interact freely and quickly amongst yourselves I live... In nowhere. I tried RPing once. A conversation took too long to finish, so I quit it. 5 minute conversation, equivalent to 5 days? Hardly worth anything.

I know what you mean. I hate forum RP, personally, and prefer real-time such as on IRC. This is so slow, you lose the mood, forget your train of thought... unless you are both/all here at the same time, its very difficult.

This is so slow, you lose the mood, forget your train of thought... unless you are both/all here at the same time, its very difficult. To some degree even I would agree with that, but some of the best R.P fun ive ever had was in the forums here at gaia. The magic i felt in the cresent moon pack R.P was unimaginabal untill the girl that started it shut it down and all the people left.... Now its nothing but memories..and crushed dreams................! Every time i try to start somthing no one reacts...It saddens me! T.T

At least on IRC, when they are there, they are really there. In the mood, in the moment, doing right then. You know when the come and go, you know who is watching, and when it ends, it ens for the spectators and the participants can just return and take up where they left up. Logs can be kept to refer to.

Thank you. I just do NOT know how to overcome the time situation. RP is serious business to me, I don't take it lightly. I expect concentration, undivided attention, effort, skill, and energy.
Its just too much to expect in here. I am an IRC woman. Colour me spoiled.
