maki had a total look of shock on her face, she didn't exspect him to say anything about what he was doing.
she gave a small smile before
nodding solemly at his question "my family follows hao's rule and well i don't, we fell out and now they say i am a descrase to the famliy and need to be gotten rid of" maki shifted her gaize uncofortably
"and it doesn't matter where i hide i can never get rid of this!"
she pulled her fringe up to revel her birth mark.

"Oh wow, that is kinda distinctive . . . Tell ya what? Seeing as how we're both against Hao, and our kind is very few and hunted, what do you say to traveling together? I don't know what your plans are, but i wouldn't mind a friend to watch my back."

maki went an paid for the ice-cream and then picked chi up out of her chair

"well i really don't have a plan" maki scratched the back of her head nervously "well i didn't have a plan but we can go with yours? to be honist it sounds alot safer" maki paused and looked around to check no one was listening "the only thing i have to say is that um.......this place is probably crawling with hao suporters so first i think we should get out of here"

Kerio-*interrupts a girl with a bounty on her head and a guy looking for his family gems to go with his ring, dragons foxes and vampires and an ancient sword sounds like a a fairy tale no?trying make a change in the world and stop the Evil lord ruling the land *laughs you two know you cant stop him alone right you'll have to find more of us to stop him, and me well id be somewhat usless without my medium, thats where the ancient swrd comes in and my spirit companion is Rhith the vampire i mentioned and i have a proposal that i lend you guys a hand in finding your gems if you can help me find my true medium, heh gotta kind of ahead of myself my name is Kerio McDonell *smiles im also a rebel.. one of my ancestors actually faught in the shaman tournament 500 years ago along side of ren, but he was killed after lord Hao came to power and refused his offer so the rest of my family went into hiding.

she flattened her fringe some more
"your guardian doesn't look to happy" she pointed at the ghost hovering behind the new comer "he kinda looks annoyed"

maki stopped as chi tugged on her hair "can i go see Reon nii-san?"
maki shot Reon an appologetic look "yeh but he might not like the name nii-san ok chi" chi nodded and jumped out of her sisters arms
"hello Reon nii-san chi-chan is chi-chan" chi stopped and looked kerio "hello kerio nii-san chi-chan is chi-chan" she smiled and hugged them both in turn.

*kerio pulls 2 small boxes out of his pockets 1 blue and 1 red,places the blue box back into his pocket and opens the red 1 pointing it at Rhith

Kerio-sorry about that he has kind of an attitude sometimes, but im looking for a sword that belonged to Rhith's Vampire Father, it has a curse on it ..but i think that if i can get the sword it should be a better medium than this kunai,i dont care what the curse is as long as it can give me the power to defeat lord Hao i will bear it,and as for why...Hao killed Chocolove Mcdonell, my ancestor.

"well then thats a good enough reason for me i mean if your one of the legenerys ancestors then you must be good" she looked at the boxs and raise an eyebrow but decided not to say anything.
maki smiled and faced reon "chi leave him alone now" she had completly avoided his question about her being a shaman.
chi nodded happly and ran over to her sister "chi-chan is chi-chan not anything else" she pointed at herself prowdly and smiled.
maki bent down and scooped her up "we should get moving the longer we stay the more chance we have of running into a hao suporter"
