Jet turned and yelled over his right shoulder.
"Could be both. Now, get going. Don't waste too much time.....yet."
Jet turned back and kept walking, vanishing around a corner headed towards the sorce of the feeling.

Sovern didn't need to wait for Mizar to tell him that they were coming--or what they wanted. They must have felt her pull, and, since they had not been turned back by that, they were likely coming to cause trouble. No matter. Mizar had stolen their power. They were weak, and their power was his.
Sovern stood up from the place he had been sitting. He did not shorten the chain; he would need the extra space between him and his little prisoner.
"Don't stop absorbing, Mizar," he said. Then, reaching through her little barrier, he gripped her arm. She cried out as her power drained into him, and in an instant his exhaustion faded, his madness returning to him. His expression was wild, bloodthirsty. How long had it been since he'd killed anyone? Too long. Much too long.

Eldrich could feel it, he was not in good condition to fight, but he must. He drew his sword, which shone more dimly than it had before, though only Debrah would know this. He was prepared for battle, but he wanted to scope out the enemy as much as possible. Which should he go after? The man holding the chain, or the one on the chain? He felt the pull more in the direction of the one on the chain, but he thought that the one holding it may be much more dangerous, and the one on it more of a pet, or perhaps a captive.

"Need my help now?" Asmoday asked in a smart tone. She walked up next to Eldrich. "I have been wanting a good fight." She smilled her wicked smile.

"I would say." Eldrich said, directed at Asmoday, "We will need as many people as possible. Since you can fly, you should be helpful, in fact. Would you be able to try and distract the one high up on the chain?" He readied his sword for the battle.

Eldrich looked at Asmoday, "As high as you need to go." He then addressed Valin, "Well, you're going to need all that you have, because this guy, well I don't know, but I'm getting a bad feeling about that guy." He readied his sword for the fight, "Asmoday, as soon as you can, go after whatever that is on the chain, then I'm going to charge in, Valin, you do whatever you can to help."
