Hey hey, everyone I'm LadyShizuka Aka Hollie. I live in ATL, GA. I go to AWA (4 years), and Momocon (1 year). Hopefully I will get to go to DragonCon this year. sweatdrop So far I'm a 2 year, almost 3 year cosplayer. I've gone as Sailor Jupiter (which I bought), and Yuuki Cross form Vampire Knight (which i made). This year my friend and I are going to do a blow out Senior (high school) year and buy our "cosplay" and do some punk lolita. With black stockings, contacts, outfit, wigs, and everything else you could imagine ...its out senior year we can splurge a little XDD

yay! i am new.. to the guide not to cosplay.. i think i have been cosplaying really for a year! i have ten costumes made.. i think and most of them are from godchild.

Hey hey~ What's up guys? Call me Zan! I'm 19 years old (but my 20th birthday is in exactly one month *hint hint*) and a huge anime fan. I live in the San Fernando Valley where there are almost zero other cosplayers nearby. The anime club at my college is non-existent but I make up for my lack of otaku fever by studying Japanese. I'm also known to crack anime-related jokes while in class which makes the sensei either slightly annoyed, weirded out, or a combination of the two. X3 Oh yeah, and I am a cosplayer and gathering organizer. In fact, my event's second meeting is this Saturday (June 21). This event usually takes place within Los Angeles County, so if there are any other SoCal cosplayers here send me a PM and I'll hook you up. ^_^ I also have a web site for my gathering which is called "The Random SoCal Cosplay Gathering of DOOM!" Here is some LINKAGE~!My Current Cosplays are: 1. Mahoro Andou from "Mahoromatic" 2. Arcueid Brunestud from "Shingetsutan Tsukihime" and "Melty Blood" 3. The Chief (Kenny) from "Bakuten Shoot Beyblade" My Masquerade Ball Cosplay is:1. Formal Reborn from "Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn" My Upcoming Cosplay Project is:1. Sho Marufuji (Syrus Truesdale) from "YuGiOh!GX" And I am known as Cosplay Cyborg on cosplay.com (so if you're over there too, say hi!) although I don't have very many photo albums yet. Last but not least, I have a project on Gaia that involves pictures of real Gaians wearing nekomimi (cat ears). Well, I've been cosplaying since.... 7th grade. I've been in college for 2 years now. lol. So 7 years?
I've been to Anime Expo, Anime LA, San Diego Comic Con, PMX, and Ren Faire.
I go to cons locally in the So Cal area.
I have a partner/teammate who i cosplay with all the time now, along with her sister when she is free.
I am the prop master in my group, since im better at that then sewing. XD;;; I also do the technical things like Masquerade registration and Audio Editing.
I like to participate in theatre productions, so cosplaying is another way of improv and becoming another character.
I love the aspect of making props and costumes, and i've made going to the Anime Expo a tradition in my life now.
smile I'd like to pick the brains of other wonderful cosplayers here, but I'm also ready to share anything my experiences can expound. I also enjoy talking with new and/or sincere people at conventions.

Greetings all!
I'm Berzerker_prime, but please call me Berz for short. I'm a costumer living in Madison, Wisconsin. Among my various and sundry costuming endeavors are Anime cosplay, Steampunk, renaissance and medieval clothing, film and television recreation, fantasy costuming, and original design. I've been in the hobby for about a decade, now, and am beginning to sew semi-professionally. I attend Anime Central every year and I run the Masquerade and contest for Geek.Kon. I'm also a charter member of the Madison Area Costuming Society (MACS for short), a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, and a charter member of Steam Century.
There are very few things in the hobby that I believe should be kept secret (in a decade, there is only one thing that I have done that I want to keep hush-hush), so I've dedicated my journal here on Gaia to the tracking of my progress on my projects and reports on cons I attend. I invite and cherish comments and tips on my work.

Hi, I'm Rose Demon Axel. I've been a con-goer for four years, a cosplayer for three. I've made a total of four cosplays, and am currently about halfway done with my fifth. I go to Anime Boston each year.

Ni hao! (Yes, that's Chinese, not Japanese, please don't correct me.) I'm Goddess Mickayla, and I'm pretty new to cons and cosplaying. In fact, I've only been to one con (This year's Gencon) and I'm still planning out my first cosplay (which may either be Haruhi Suzumiya or Skuld from Ah! My Goddess). o____o
Anyways, this may be the start of my con/cosplay hobby, but I have been into Manga for maybe a year now and into Anime since I was just a baby!
So yeah... Even if I'm new to reading Japanese picture books (Manga) and going to/doing events (cons and cosplaying), I've been into the Japanese arts for maybe... 10 years?
...That sounded so wrong to me. XD
