"No, He needs to stay alive sadly. His the Doctor I go to when I'm harmed." Tear said and stood up slightly and rubbed his head which was hurting. It was a longer job then Thought and after it was done. Tear took Hikari to a portal and stood there handing out some money. " Here's the cut for you, for working. Give this too Kurama. Hiei left me with a Note for the fox saying he was going to stay At Chika's tonight and talk to her about what's going on." Tear said. " Thanks Hikari." He said with a nod about the job.

In the note anyway, Tear being clever. Would be more Money. On the end of the note in fancy hand writing was from Tear. ' Don't think I'm silly. I know how you work. Take the money.' -Tear. Tear left at that point and headed off.

At the apartment, Kurama was sitting on the couch reading. Relaxing.

A few days had passed since Hikari had gone on the mission with Tear, and she'd been as upbeat as the girl could be without really showing it. Her fighting had been better, she'd had a clearer head, and she wasn't even starting fights with anyone... Well, other than her verbal wars with Hiei, of course. Those were a necessity. But now it was night time in demon world, and the castle seemed eerily quiet. The fourteen-year-old had gone to bed before dinner, and hadn't come out since. Only, she wasn't the only person in her room.

In that room sat Hikari, and next to her was a man with snow white skin and hair to match, with almost glowing violet eyes. Hikari looked up at him as he stroked her long black hair, muttering quiet words with what at first looked like a kind smile, but had a twisted sense to it. Off to the side stood a tall muscular man with pink eyes and long purple hair, looking like he was wearing some sort of armor.

Hikari's back was to the door, and the pale man's eyes wandered up above Hikari to see over her, glancing at Hiei. His smirk only grew more, leaning down and whispering something in Hikari's ear before standing up and disappearing with the armored man who had been standing by the window. They were just gone like that in an instant. Without a trace.

Hikari stared at the place where they had been for several seconds. Her eyes were red, and there were actually tears of blood stained on her cheeks. She just looked lost all of a sudden. "Grandpa...? Grandpa... Grandpa!" Her voice started out meek then gradually turned into a scream as she got up and ran to the window to try and get out and follow after the two that had disappeared.

Hikari's red eyes stared at Hiei's chest as she took in fast, deep breaths. "He... He has mom. Grandpa knows where mom is!" The poor girl just sounded desperate at this point as she tried to get away from Hiei again and went for the window.

Hikari shook her head frantically, wiping some of the blood away from her face. "But he said she's there! Momma's waiting for me, she has to be!" Hikari had switched over to English at this point. "She has to be... He said so... Let me go. Let me go find mom!"

Hikari flinched with a small whimper when Hiei snapped at her, shutting her eyes that were still glowing red. "B-but he said..." She tried again, but it was no use. Hikari sniffled, keeping her arms down since Hiei had her locked against his chest.

"But he's mom's dad..." Hikari muttered. She sounded so lost from that. She'd had some hope and Hiei was crushing that down with a million pound lead ball. "...My head hurts..." Hikari mumbled, staring down at the floor. She noticed a few drops of blood.
