Bastet heard someone shouting and turned around. Her hair was touseled, she still had tear-stains on her face, and walked with a slight weakness form lack of food and all the healing she had done. As her eyes focused she saw Kasis, and she was greatful that he was not an empath. "Hello..." She waited for him to catch up, reminding herself that she would not hurt him.

Kasis' pace slowed down almost immediately as he saw her face pale and drained. Tears? He completely stopped a couple of feet away from her and heistated.
"Uh... Bastet. What's wrong?" He couldn't really formulate the words correctly. His interaction with a trouble person was very limited, let alone to the much more sensitive of the sex, a troubled girl.

Khenu looked up again at Saradin and stared at him as his vision began to clear, the fogging in his head starting to life. He nodded to the man as he felt the wobble in his legs dying down as well.
"What...just...happened?" His words were still slow, but his tone had returned and his eyes were now fully open and blinking in question up at Saradin.

Bastet's eyes narrowed as she saw the look on his face change. "Damn tears....I cry once and it screws everyone up." She turned and looked at the ground, her ears were down, her tail limp. "Too much is wrong with me."

"Dont worry about it Khenu... you want to go check out the dinner set up? I'm going to look for more people." Saradin set off in search of others.
"It certainly is a grand sight..." He took one final look at all the food and breathed in the scent of it. "Makes me want to eat it right now." Senseing someone elses approach he turned to see himself walk past the room. "Who was that? What about those people now?"

Turning in the direction Saradin was facing, Aura only saw little Khenu. "Who's that? Has your mind slipped you already? Come over here Khenu." Aura motioned the boy over with an accompanied bark from Eclipse.

"Bastet." He was a loss at words. From the books he read the moment, a girl mostly distraught was very sensitive and one wrong word would make her break down. He tried to think of something to say, he put himself in her shoes and tried to think of something that would cheer her up. Finally he gathered up the nerve and said it, (this took appx 3 seconds)
"Bastet, look at me." He pointed at his ears (both of them) and made a broad grin, "Having two ears is something to complain about being "too wrong with something" Inside he prayed that she would luagh or feel better.

Khenu looked to both bark and beacon for him, to see Aura and...Saradin? Both were standing in the great hall. He momentarily looked to where the other Saradin had gone off to, then back to the other.
He swallowed a lump in his throat and walked slowly over approaching on the side that was closest to Eclipse and Aura. He stared at this other Saradin for a moment then whispered something into Eclipse's ear. "Why are there two Saradins?"

Eclipse immediately stiffened at the boy's question. What? Two Saradins? Just looking at Khenu, he knew he wasn't lying. The boy was too innocent at heart to even conjure up a good one let alone, one like that. He pinned an ear back slightly and tapped into Aura's mind sending the boys mentioned.
Receiving said message, she tried to not stiffen her own posture. He had to be kidding. She took a quick glance down at Soulforge as Saradin had once instructed her to so do, but the damn thing was sheathed still.

"I didnt mean Khenu... I saw someone else pass out of the room." Growing more and more alert to potential threat, Saradin put his hand on the old sword sheath that was always by his side. "Two Saradins? I don't know anything about this... and I dont like it. Could the other me have been respawned so quickly?" Let me go check it out..." Saradin took off out of the room, in search of his carbon copy.

Khenu shifted his weight uncomfortably. "I didn't mean to be so loud." He shook his head. "I'm not lying Aura, Saradin was outside, with me and Nailah. He took Nailah to her room then went off and told me to come here."
He didn't know if he was in trouble or what. He just knew he was very freaked out, and not quite catching on to everything that his brain was trying to process.

Bastet looked back to him and strained a smile onto her face. "Two ears are good, but four are better. It makes you a better listener, so you have less a chance to screw up, as I have. I can leave and get my emotions in check." She ran towards the Manor and climbed into a window near her wing, and rushed to her room.

The word "leave" echoed in his head and even with Kasis' fast processing speed it took a couple of seconds to figure out what she meant by leave. He quickly took off after her and stopped at her window. The urge to jump in was great, but his manners were even greater.
"Wait, leave!? You mean you're leaving us!? Why!?"

Aura looked down at Khenu. Now she was on high alert as well. Saradin said they had to watch their back because his Shadow had been so free willed. "It's alright Khenu. It's a good thing you've motioned something." She patted the boy on the head. Her mind was warring with her. Saradin knew everyone in the manor, and everything important or dangerous that had been going on at the time...but not now? And he was so casual about it as well. That didn't sit well with her. "Eclipse...go get my sais."
"You can't be serious! I won't let you go after him you hear me!"
"Eclipse-"
"No! I'll follow...you stay with Khenu and watch your back." The wolf turned tail and began to follow the path that seemingly both Saradins had taken.

Saradin rounded the outside of the house again. "Kasis? How's Bastet?" He found him standing outside her window and talking to the inside of it, was only a small stretch to guess at what he was doing there. "She didnt sound to good a short while ago, has she improved any? Oh, and will you be available for the banquet tonight?"
