"An opposite." This really had significance. Aurahkah was always a kind hostess to them all, truly a representation of what her home stood for. But that was only the last part of the story, she had given them the tales of her as a tombrobber and a priestess, but it never quite sank in. She could have been a real horror then, and it was almost to impossible to understand it nowadays. "The old you, the opposite of what Eclipse turned you into. Hard to believe."

"Ranting? Not at all. If such a small description were ranting, then all of us were guilty of that long ago." Finaly, he took the seat that was offered to him by Kasis a short time ago and relaxed into the chair. "I suppose though, that it would be inappropriate to ask more of your past than that. Though now you have me interested in what you meant by what's written there."

"Forty two sins and only seven you are free of. I suppose that by bringing out the book only recently means youve commited one of them..." Not until after he said this, did Saradin stop to think about the nature of it. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to accuse you of anything." After he removed himself from his chair and giving her a simple bow as part of his apology, he set off for the door. "I should probably get some sleep before I begin the final hectic approach to my complete banquet. Goodnight."

Eclipse lifted his head and yawned, rousing himself out of cheese cake gorging induced sleep and stood, stretching out his legs and flexing his wings. He whimpered at the action and quickly drew his left wing in...it still hurt like crazy. Shaking out his fur her caught sight of Kasis. He padded over to the cat boy, examined him for a moment, then moved on. Aurahkah's thoughts were too strong to ignore, and he was making his way to, hopefully, her room.

Aura rolled over in her bed and whimpered in her sleep. In her dreams she was reliving her life...it often happened from time to time, but her happy disposition she displayed never hinted at troubled sleep, but there was much of it. Slowly her eyes opened but she couldn't move, fully aware of everything around her and powerless to do anything. Sleep paralysis...she damned it. A minute later it was gone and she sat up in bed, slightly nauseous. Taking a glance out her window, she noticed that dawn had still not broke.

Eclipse popped through her wall a few moments later and trotted over to the bed, jumping up on it to lay across Aurahkah's lap. "You're dreaming things again...what of?" He licked his muzzle and nuzzled under her chin in a gesture of comfort.

"Of you." She sighed. "I just...I wanted to use you to get revenge. I feel so badly about it sometimes." Aura wiped at her eyes. When she dreamed of Eclipse's creation it always made her cry. Half out of fear of how she was, the other at what her intentions for the shadow creature to be.

"Don't cry." He sighed. "I know you did...that's why I chose to remedy that, to show you that you didn't have to get revenge on the world for your pain, that you could grow stronger than it and overcome it. What brought this on?"

"Saradin. But don't blame him. He was simply doing his outside the box thinking." She wrapped her arms around the wolf's neck, resting her head on top his own. "I won't be getting back to sleep."

Eclipse nuzzled her again and jumped out the bed, then grabbed her bracelet in his jaws, pulling her gently out as well. "Then come, we'll watch the sun rise." He lead her out to the courtyard, and close to the boulder the tranced Kasis was on. The wolf cleared his throat, in a manner, to gain the boy's attention. "Mind if we join you Kasis?"

Aura gave him a smile of her own and nodded. "Hello Kasis. Still up?"

Eclipse was having a delightful time. If he ever wanted unrelenting attention, this would be the person to go to. He acted like Aurahkah had when he was first created. Personally Eclipse didn't find himself that fascinating, but the way people reacted to him was. "Careful of my left wing Kasis."

Aura sat down in the grass next to the two, one of her hands absentmindedly playing with the end of Eclipse's tail.

"Me and Munalisk had a fight that went to far. My wing got broken, but Vincent fixed it for me, it's just sore now and a little stiff to move." He looked away from Kasis for a moment to a now azure eyed Aurahkah. "And your shoulder?"

"Hm? Oh, it's better as well, Nailah took care of it. I'm fine." She smiled at the wolf's use of the vampire's name, not just addressing him as 'vampire', or 'blood sucker'.
