Mini, why do you have to do citizenship stuff?? If you were made a citizen under your mum's name when you were little, then you are a citizen. It is still valid =) At least I know I haven't had to do anything to prove my citizenship.

My mum and dad got their citizenships after I was born and not before. Also, I was born overseas and not in Australia, unlike my brother. Therefore I'm not eligible for citizenship by descent, which is what you're thinking of. Thus I need to get citizenship of my own.

My friend is a New Zealander, and moved here when he was 3 or 5, but he doesn't have an Australian citizenship, and he doesn't want one.

That's what I've been trying to do Nat. I went to the DIMIA place last tuesday to file my application but they told me to phone them instead, and also said that the waiting list for applications was two months. Finally, I tried applying online but it wouldn't work. sweatdrop

Well, I was born overseas and my parents got citizenship when I was about 4 or 5. And me and my brother were added on my mum's citizenship paper. So yeah... It is weird that it expired. Cause I'm pretty sure mine is fine =)

I confess that I never know what to say to people who are upset.
Ever.
It's annoying and makes me feel bad. I don't like not being able to help.

God, I hate that awkwardness that you get when they are upset and you don't know what to do. The last time I was with someone who was upset, I went out and bought him some pringles. Yeah, I suck, but he seemed to think it was adorable XD

Yeah... a few weeks ago one of my mates was upset coz he broke up with his girlfriend and then none of his albury mates could come down to Melbz to go this party. I felt real bad because somehow I feel responsible for every time a female has broken a man's heart... and also I would have gone to that party if I had the cash.
Anyway, I made him finger puppets of his Albz friends and posted them to him. He stuck them up on his wall above his turntables. aww xp
This pointless moment was brought to you by Emma. We hope you enjoyed this moment.

OMG, a real confession. o_0
If I moved out of town from all my friends, and none of them could come to my party, but one of them made finger puppets of all my old friends and sent them to me, I would probably cry. ;_;
That's such a sweet gesture EmWah.
