The group of beasts had stuck to stick to four legs. The scent of the dragon had been picked up, although it wasn't as strong as it had been before, and the tracking had begun.
"Dragons. Damned dragons. Dammit. Dammit. We're going to have to kill it. And those damned things have venom mouths." It turned out the eldest, golden-eyed male had quite a dirty mouth, but Holt wasn't bothered. The group was traveling much faster now, even with Holt's mother sticking to the rear and shaking her head and mumbling as much as the lead was cussing.
Holt had found his place somewhere between the two, and had found it was simple to chat with the other, calmer ones.

XD I can't wait till the kittys finally catch up, Hari's gonna have to go to drastic measures if he don't want Kiaya to kill the kitty things ))
Kiaya was able to calm so that she was no longer so mood swingy as the group walked on. She was remianing silent and watching everything as they went by. It was her nature to keep track of things, since the male dragon knights were too caught up in thier own things all the time to worry about surrounds.
Bara was walked along both Kiada and Nariko, Nariko was remianing as quiet as ever and Bara was still to sleepy to try and think up conversation with Kiada.
Nariko had curled herself up apon Larissa's shoulder. Her lightly colored white ears were perked up as the kit stayed on her small siting area.

When the group was about halfway to the forest (about an hour or so), galloping could be heard from behind them. Hari was on top of what looked like a zebra missing its mane. The animal was about a hand* higher than a normal zebra and was white with black stripes. The fur on the animal was also fluffier looking instead of fine pieces of hair. When the animal came close enough though, one would be able to see that sharp teeth that would be expected of a carnivore in its mouth and fierce ice blue eyes.
"Hey, you all are behind," Hari spoke with his usual smile though his tone was clearly chastising the group, "You're going to have to pick up the pace a bit." The odd animal tossed its head, letting out short snorts from its large nostrils.

"Why?" Claw retorted sourly back to Hari when he saw the man come up behind him. The incident that had occured(sp?) between the group leader and Larissa and Mickey had caused more tension between Claw and Mickey, and therefore Claw had blamed it all on the man and gotten Hari on his nerves.
((Oof. Not the best description I've done... but you get what I'm getting at, right? ))

"We may have to head to Uzx instead if you don't. It's a city of thieves," the man responded, watching Claw, "Then again, I know they won't rob me of anything while I sleep and I have plenty to give to get myself food. You'd have to barter items for your food and comfort."

Mickey automatically quicked her pace upon hearing Hari's description of the town of Uzx. Why hadn't he told them that before? Mickey didn't give too much thought to it, though; she was more focused on being able to get to Parinene in time.

"What took you all so long anyway?" the man asked, leaning against the animal that he was mounted upon. Though it was asked a question to everyone, he was specifically looking at Mickey's back until his mount walked ahead of the group. Hari took the lead once more but his pace was slightly faster than Mickey's, being on an animal. Of course, he wasn't going to slow down any. They wanted to get to Parinene.

"Some people didn't want to move," Mickey replied bluntly, not looking at Hari as she spoke. Rather, she stared straight forward as if it would make her and the rest of the group move more quickly.

"I thought you'd be able to stop that from happening," the man spoke, but not quite as loudly as he had been before, when he was talking to the entire group. It was disappointing for him that she had not been able to "handle" the task though it was a harder task to deal with.

"So did I," the half demon responded, "But apparently I have no leadership skills." She was clearly still rather miffed.

Hari's shoulders moved a bit, the man holding back his laughter. "Don't worry, it'll take more than skills to keep everyone together." The man lifted a hand to take something out from his front. When he turned around towards Mickey, several silver coins were sitting in the man's palm, which was extended towards the girl. "At least they didn't stay rooted to the spot."

"I guess." The girl stared at the money for a moment before glancing up at Hari, an eyebrow raised skeptically. 'What's that for?" she asked, not taking it quite yet.

"For getting them to at least head in the right direction," Hari spoke, "It was a job that you were tasked with and you at least got them to move, but if you don't want it..." The man closed his hand though he didn't quite withdraw his arm from the girl's direction.

"No, I'll take it," Mickey replied, her expression being lightened by a smile. "I was just wondering what I did is all." She waited for the man to open his hand once more.
