Harumi had followed, slowly, lost in her own thoughts. But eventually she had arrived at the springs. By that time, they were already in the water, and she just entering the women's changing rooms. Almost with sluggish movements, she stepped out of her clothing and into a bikini, the top typing around her neck and her back, and the bottom tying on both sides. It was red, with wuite trim. Once dressed, she grabbed a towel and wandered out into the springs area. She was hit with a blast of warm steam and blinked a couple times, peering around until she caught sight of the two guys. A small hesitation, and she slowly made her way towards them, silently slipping into the water and sinking down until it was up to her chin.

Harumi remained silent, just staring at the water at first. Then her head very slowly turned, large red eyes focusing upon Zephel and blinking a couple times. She let out a sigh, and sat up a little bit straighter in the water. "I don't understand because no one's ever cared before," she said bluntly. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she studied his face, then she appeared to give up and turned her gaze towards the sky. "Why would you watch out for me? You hated me earlier. Didn't you? So why do you care?"

Harumi bit her lip softly, slowly lowering her gaze until she was staring at the water, instead of the sky. "How can I stop being negative when there's never anything positive?" Her voice was somewhat quiet though, her expression uncertain. This is positive! a voice spoke in her head, but Harumi ignored it. She was way too confused. Suddenly, after spending who knows how long here, and not talking to a soul during that time, two people appeared and asked to be friends. She just didn't understand... It was so hard to fathom! "...I thought you hated me," she said sulkily.

Gabriella gave a broad grin again as Mirumi responded. "Come on, don't be like that! You can't tell me Kujiro isn't cool. You'd have to be out there not to think something good about my bro." she said, her nails scratching a little at the girl's head "Don't fret about it, if it's a date ya want with 'em, I can help ya with that. Aaaaaannnd I think I can help ya with a little bit more." she grins, brushing both her hands on either side of the girl's head, up along her ears. "Ya know, maybe a little make uuuup...a nice dress, or something a bit contemporary. We don't wanna be too flashy to you...hey..." she stops, placing her hands over either side of the girl's head. She leans her head over the side, in front of Mirumi's as she blinks. "...You would like to go out with Kuji, wouldn't you? I mean... Don't go thinkin' just 'cause I have a hold of your head or anything that ya gotta do what I tell ya, right?" she smiled broadly, scratching along behind Mirumi's ears "But just think about it! I mean, you're like, one of the only girls I ever saw him talkin' to without pointin' out a bunch of crap they did wrong! That's pretty good! Hehe!"

Harumi smiled bitterly at the water when he said her life was worth being positive about. Oh yeah? In what way? But she kept this thought to herself, not wishing to start yet another arguement. She sighed to herself, shut her eyes for a moment, then reopened them shortly after. "Alright..." she murmured reluctantly. "So you don't hate me, apparently. Fine then." She almost sounded like she was disappointed. But really, it was just so odd that she found it very hard to believe it. Someone didn't hate her? Amazing. She suddenly let herself sink completely under the water, eyes squeezed shut as she just floated for a moment. Then she bobbed back upwards, tucking white hair behind her ears and out of her face, and settled back to stare uncertainly at the water.

Harumi ignored the imitation of herself and the little comment that followed, instead settling her back against the stone edge behind her, arms folded loosely across her chest. The water was up to her neck and her hair was floating on the surface around her. Her eyes stared unblinkingly, and didn't waver as he asked if she was alright. "I'm fine..." she said quietly. "Why.. do you ask?" However, she actually seemed kind of dazed. ...when was the last time I slept? she suddenly wondered to herself.

Harumi blinked, but otherwise didn't respond. However, she did jump slightly when he touched her forehead. She looked up at him uncertainly, eyes widening slightly at his question. Can he read minds? ...no, then he wouldn't have bothered asking. He'd already know. She closed her eyes again, rubbing them lightly with her hands. "...I don't remember," she muttered. She turned around, sitting on her knees now, her arms on the edge of the spring with her head resting on them. She actually had to fight to keep her eyes open, and to now allow a yawn to escape.
