The Apathetic Empress_Kat So am I. However, unlike you, I don't hide from it, I accept it and I accept that God made me this way. I know none of you agree with me. But we've been over that debate time and time again, and neither of our opinions will change, and I have decided lately to not get into huge debates about whether my lifestyle condemns me to hell or not.The debate here really isn't that it'll make you go to hell, but the fact that you can decide not to do it, and that you're not born that way. Jesus died for ALL sins, not just the "small" ones. Totally biased and unfair. I don't know if I was born gay or not, because in the Bible it doesn't say "People are not born homosexuals." It just says it's a sin. Secondly, I also don't know the answer to this, because I didn't have the ability to be attracted to anything at the time of being born, just like no one else can. Now something that I can assure you, is that I did start noticing boys at around second grade. So I was pretty damn young. I was raised in a Christian home, with both mother and father figures, and I wasn't abused at all. I'm also not effeminate. So what is your reasoning for me being attracted to boys at such a young age. At an age where I didn't understand sin, or liking boys, or anything else. I didn't even know what being gay was. Heck, I hadn't even heard that word until like my 6th grade year. Waaaay after. Don't tell me that you honestly believe that a 6 year old boy decided to think that he felt weird around other boys, and have dreams about other boys, out of his own will. It's horrible being gay. You get ridiculed, mistreated, beat up, it's against God, you can get disowned. Why would I want to be like this? Of course, I can just not have gay relations, but that does not change the fact that everytime I see a hot guy pass by, that I find him hot, and that I don't feel any sort of physical attraction to girls. Girls are pretty. But only to look at, not to have sex with. Not for me. In the Bible it says that thinking about something is just as bad as doing it. It's natural for humans to want to have sex. So.. how am I not supposed to think about sex at all? Because I don't want to sin against God, but I feel grossed out to even think about sex with a girl. If it's a choice, please go gay, truly gay, and then go straight again, so you can then tell me how to do it, because I honestly can't.

Off topic... But anyways... So!
Honestly, I don't quite understand bisexuals or gays unless they've had sex with the opposite gender.
I could say I'm gay because I have an attraction to my best friend- that would qualify me as lesbian. But would I really be a gay in reality?
Now, if you keep saying things over and over again, then you'd start to believe it... so if I were to tell multiple people that I was gay, then I would end up believing it even though the first suspicion that I was homosexual was only observed in a slight liking of the opposite gender.
If the debate really is about the "fact that you can decide not to do it," then the above statements are true in my case... besides me calling myself openly gay (although I had been thinking about telling everyone... )
I'm convinced that God gave me an attraction for my gender than for the opposite because he wanted me to keep my eye off of men and acknowledge that thinking about anything immoral (in my state of mind, that is... not necessarily yours) to my gender is better. Also, maybe even (I think it is strongly thought of as being gay is a chemical imbalance in the brain ) God was inclined to allow the happening of gays because he wanted them to become celibate.
( Maybe that's why I've been able to stay 'single' for a while now )
Now, some of this may not be relevant to this argument discussion, but it might be of some use.

I'm sorry krnchichiri, but I don't think God makes people gay so that they can become celibate.
That would be cruel.

PFFT. Others who weren't Jews wouldn't go to heaven because God viewed them as 'evil' or whatever. (I'm tired.... and my vocabulary is deteriorating. XP) So if Jesus never came down, or any other person like him, only the Jews would be the "special" people... and I don't think their religion would last with all of the world with knowing that only the Jews would be saved.
Nyar?
And and and and.... >.>

Hmmm NewFoundLight I don't think it says anything about whether or not Job was a Jew or a Gentile in the whole book of Job.
It says he feared God, and since it's part of the old testament, I'd be willing to bet that he was probably a Jew :/
