Mercenary Paladin Well, THAT could have gone better. Deidra sat up at the same time Tasuki did and looked at the door he was in. "If only I knew what he thinks of all of this..." she murmured aloud.

Deidra got up slowly and stepped up to the empty door and placed her hand on the door handle, but didn't open it. She rested her head in the door and closed her eyes, feeling tired all of a sudden and felt tears come to her eyes. "I'm sorry." she whispered, partly to Tasuki, partly to Dawn.

Deidra felt her heartbeat pick up and found herself clutching Tasuki's shoulders for support. She closed her eyes and rested her forehead against Tasuki's chest. "It's...nothing...just a little emotional, thats all..."

Deidra wiped her tears away and sniffed. "I don't want to talk about it..not yet at least. Can I just stay like this with you for a little bit?" She felt her face burn with shyness for asking but she really did not want to care about that right at the moment...

Cel snuggled closer and felt herself drifting into the sound of his voice.
