Bastet narrowed her eyes at the two then calmly walked to the library door until she smelled many different things coming from the kitchen. Immediately she got down on all fours and ran passed the two of them skidding to a stop at the kitchen. She got up on two legs again and composed herself until she saw all of the food. her mouth dropped some, then she closed it and coolly walked over. "How long were we gone? Because this is a lot of food, and I thought the banquet was later." She looked at the defeated Saradin, "At least Bradwen is not among us."

Nailah came skipping into the kitchen and almost slammed into Bastet. "What's the-" She stopped her eyes wide. "Wow, Saradin...that's a lot of food!" She walked around Bastet and saw Saradin sitting in a chair. "What's the matter? Afraid we'll eat all of your hard work? No...I'm hungry but even I'm not that hungry." She surveyed the food, her stomach growling again. "Mmmm." Closing her eyes she let all the smells hit her at once and fill her with all their yummy goodness.

Bastet grinned and popped up behind Saradin and threw her arms over his shoulders and hugged him. "Aw, poor Saradin. Are you really that afraid of us? We are only three people, we could not eat all of this if we tried." She moved away, "But I suppose I could be good, just this once." She glared at Nailah, and grabbed her wrist leading her away from the table, "I am sure he has some left overs, anything cooked by him is good." She peeked into the refrigerator and searched around.

"Aww but it looks so good. Do we have to eat leftovers? This is fresh. And it all smells so good." She crossed her arms and pouted. "Just a taste? A small little insignificant piece of chicken? With some of the pork and maybe some beef too. Oh and some pudding. With a little bit of whipped cream on top? It's just a little bitty taste." She walked over to the bar and poured a shot of scothc for Saradin. Briinging it over she tapped him on the shoulder, "I guess I'll be good...even though it all looks so good. And it's not fair." She walked abck over to the two stanidng by the fridge. Leftovers would have to do.

Aura reached in the fridge, grabbing something random for Eclipse to eat as well. Looking at Nailah she laughed and shook her head. "Such childlike tendencies." She rolled her eyes. "Well why don't we eat in another room or even outside, so Saradin here can get back to his work?"

Nailah tossed the bowl of leftovers back at Bastet. "See! Yay!" She rushed over to Saradin and hugged him. "Now what one or two things can we have?" She clapped her hands in delight and surveyed all the delicious food splayed out on the table. Under her breath she said, "Tasting everything is the only way to make sure it's all good. But that delight is left for the chef only."

Aura shook her head again and leaned back against the counter, one hand latching to the scruff of Eclipse's fur, holding him next to her. "Now now, you take far enough from him as it is Eclipse, you can stand to eat leftovers." She brushed a piece of hair from her eyes. "I'll stick with just leftovers, my appetite isn't as it usually is anyway right now. Why waste food?"

Eclipse groaned slightly. "Fun sucker...."

Nailah's lip quivered at his tone. She quickly grabbed a plate and looked at all the food. Choices, choices. She finally grabbed a small leg of chicken and a very small slice of the pot roast. She topped it off with a little bit of mashed potatoes and gravy. Then she walked away before taking anything else. "Your turn Bastet."
