It had been a few hours since he’d set sail. Through the grates on deck he could see the sky start changing for blue to a light red as the sun began to set. So far things were rather boring. He was called to the deck on occasion to clean, but he spent most of his time in the cargo room. It was his first voyage at sea and he was beginning to feel that the talk of dangerous waters was merely superstition.

His doubts about the sea being dangerous were soon laid to rest. A storm was brewing and the rough waves started to jostle him and the cargo. He was called on deck to fasten things down and to prepare for a tough night. It was doubtful anyone would get any sleep.

The thunder and lightning calmed halfway through the night, but the wind still howled. The stars were once again visible and sparkled in the distance. The captain gathered reports and announced startling new. We were off course. It seem the storm had pushed us too far south. Everyone seemed on edge. Though it would most likely take longer than expected, Akuma saw little reason to be afraid.

Rayne stood there in the boat as it started to drift into the sea . The boat was already drifting off as he looked around seeing that the area that he was traveling was quite calm and little to no waves at all. The first objective he needed to do on the boat was to lift the sails, after that was done he started to cast a spell , muttering in a ancient language. As he finished his spell the wind in the area started to pick up and made its way down towards where Rayne's boat was. The boat started to move, drifting away slowly as it was directed towards where the country that he was headed .

It was a slightly rough and the storm was not as near the area where he was in. There was little to less waves that clashed with the boat , but there was no harm done towards the structure of the boat itself. Rayne stood there in the center of the boat seeing that his spell that cause the wind also lead the boat towards the direction where he wanted did not require him to direct the boat it self. Hmm...I wonder what ...is lurking in South Korea... Rayne thought to himself as he stood there silently noticing that the thunder made echoing sounds through out the area seeing that he was getting closer to the storm.

After a few hours during his trip to South Korea, Rayne sat down for a moment seeing that the stormy clouds left alittle hole that allowed the moon to make its appearance. The moonlight shines down the sea with a dim and eerily glow of pale light. Rayne looked up towards the moon in deep thoughts as though he was reflecting upon his past.Afterwards he looked around for moment to see if there was land nearby. As he looked to the northeast area of the boat he notice shadowy landscape that seem to resemble hills. At this moment Rayne started to slow his spell down and tries to get a better view on where to place his boat at.

The rest of the night progressed slowly. The crew was frantically trying to get back on course, but the wind blew them farther south. The sun rose and the wind finally subsided. The map was rechecked and the answer was grim. They were now even farther south off course.

After slowly drifting into the docks, Rayne looked around and asked the owner of the docks " Is this North or South Korea." The owner replied in a exhausted tone " Yes,yes it is South Korea and yes there is an inn a couple of miles from here." Rayne replied in a calm voice " Thankyou." After this he turned and made his way towards the area where the man directed him to go

Hmm...does not matter I was well rested during the trip ...there is no need ...I guess I was closer to South Korea than I thought ...hmm...it seems that it is about...prehaps almost morning... Rayne thought to himself as he made his way pass the area seeing many shop owners rising up to get an early start on their busniness. It was very misty in the area , but the mist was not very thick , it was alittle translucent and sky was still grey. Rayne made his way through the path swiftly and silently seeing that he must make use of his time noticing that there is evil afoot and a war maybe coming.

Akuma had since returned to the cargo room to catch up on the lack of sleep the storm had caused. He awoke with shouting echoing from above deck. He quickly, packed his blanket and climbed above deck to investigate the cause for alarm. Shielding the sun from his eyes, Akuma peered into the distance. A ship was approaching and fast.

Akuma ran and found the captain barking orders. “Get ready men! Those must be pirates, that blasted storm must have blown us into their territory!” yelled the captain. Akuma ran back bellow deck and gathered his remaining supplies, there were virtually no weapons aboard, and if those were pirates, the cargo ship would be heavily out matched.

It was not long before the mystery ship reached them. The men were heavily armed and vast in numbers. Their deck was stained red with blood of their many victims. “Just great,” Akuma thought, “even if I take out most of them there’s no way this ship will survive.” He contemplated his options. There weren’t many. The pirates soon laid siege upon the cargo ship.

The crewmen were no match for the rouge pirates and were slaughtered before they even could swing their makeshift weapons. Akuma had climbed the mast to avoid being seen by the pirates below. Even if he managed to stay alive with the ship intact, without the crew, there would be no way to reach shore. The only other option would be to board the pirate ship. Of course that would be suicide.

Akuma pulled out his chain scythe. The ship had begun to tilt as the pirates loaded the cargo off one side of the ship. Akuma flung his scythe and it embedded into the mast of the pirates ship. He swung out and slammed painfully into the thick wooden mast. The pirates below were distracted by their days catch. Akuma climbed down the mast and ducked into a nearby cabin. He could only hope no one would find him.

The cabin looked as though it hadn’t been used for a while. There was a tattered cot in the corner and a few crates that were stored along the opposite wall. Akuma pushed out a few and hid behind them just in case some one came inside.

Hours passed and the cabin door never opened, but he didn’t want to take the risk of moving. After a while, despite willing himself to stay alert, Akuma fell asleep.

((Man... I have to go to bed... So tired... xp ))
