Well, obviously not. Why else would we have a chronic obesity problem? As well as all the smoking/drug related illnesses.
I just don't understand how someone could get so overweight without seeking help. I mean, I'm not saying they're not trying with exercise and diet (not all are though), but you'd think they'd seek outside help like a doctor or something... its killing them.

Sometimes people are so depressed or have got so self esteem that they refuse to seek any help, or they're too addicted to their habits to even think about change until they found out they're in mortal danger of a chronic illness. I sometimes feel that way as well... sweatdrop

Lol diet cookie. *eats* xd

I confess I feel I did pretty well during my History exam. There was nothing particularly hard about it, and I only started studying 2 days before and I still was able to construct some well thought out essays.

In addition to what other ppl have said, there can also be medical reasons that some people are overweight. And yeah... And also, being an overweight person myself, I can tell you it aint easy to lose weight. And then to keep it of once you loose it!! I bet if you count up the total number of kilos I've lost since I've been trying to lose weight, it would be like around 30 or more kg ... but I tend to put it back on because I'll go through stressful periods where I'll eat crap and not exercise =P

I sympathise with you mystic, because I experience the same problem. It takes me 1/2 hours to get from home to uni every day for four days of the week and the rest of the days I have to work full time. It's just more convenient to eat fast food or leftovers my family has left rather than eat real healthy stuff. Plus I tend to sleep far too late to get up early and exercise. sweatdrop

i confess that im totally baffled as to why everyone on my msn ignores my away status every time i'm on, i state in my nickname that i am away, and i have the status set away, then i leave the house and come back long time later to find bunch of people saying stuff which proved pointless as i didn't reply.
