"So which is better to stop in, then?" Mickey asked. "Uzx or that one with a 'P'?"

Kiya sighed,"Just pick a stop already."she said in a slight whine.

"Both have their advantages and disadvantages," Hari told her with a shrug, "Uzx's shops are more or less trading goods for other goods while Parinene seems like a festival year-round. The people will at least give you a good laugh."

"Let's stop in Parinene, then," Mickey decided, a little pressured by Kaiya's whining. Yes, from Hari's description, Uzx might have been the smarter place to stop, but if anything the group needed a good laugh.

"Alright," the man smiled, "Try to stay from the lord's palace while we're there." It was more of a warning than a suggestion, but the man made it sound like a suggestion.

"Why?" The half demon had to ask. What little tiredness Mickey had felt before was gone.

"There are a large host of sernts in the lord's house," Hari spoke seriously, "If you are bitten only once then I'm sure I could get the antidote in enough time that you wouldn't die but you may be unable to use your arms or your legs ever again. Then again, it's better than being bitten by a dragon."

"How so?"Kiaya asked and bobed Dark on the head since he was out of the bag. On command the dragon bit her hand."See nothing."she said waveing her hand around with dark still latched on.

"He's talking about the dragons of this world," Mickey said to Kaiya as if the woman were stupid. "Thanks for the warning," the half demon told Hari.

"Try a full grown dragon," Hari spoke, looking over at Kaiya, "If you don't succumb to the bleeding, then you'll most likely die from the venom. As far as I know, there are only two people that have not died after being bitten by a dragon."

Holt and the group had curled up by the western gate, where the dragon had been scented. Of coarse, the beasts got some weird looks, but at least the humans stayed their distance. "A dragon. I can't believe this!" Holt purred to his mother, as he leaned against a stone archway. "Neither can I..." She muttered, clutching her head unstably with a paw. "Neither can I, Holt... Now, got to sleep."

"The overconfident are always the one to underestimate what they go against," Hari spoke simply, shrugging more to himself, "As a wise man once said 'The man who fearlessly speaks against Krishna is struck down quickly.'"

[after reading it like 4 times over sometimes]
"And that proves my point," the man sighed, shaking his head. He had said nothing on arrogance, but he had already witnessed the girl's arrogance many times. Still, he was not going to argue over something so pointless.
