hope the pizza was good! the traveling vet this morning got all 6 of our kitties boosters for 90 bux! instead of hundreds and hundreds at vet. we're home and im quite sleepy. gonna kick back n be lazy!

The pizza was great, I bought pizza cheese cubes to put on it and they bubbled up and went all golden brown, made it extra yummy  That's a steal! Glad you managed to get the kitties sorted without breaking the bank, building Noah's Ark in modern day would be a financial nightmare Awesome on the art front Mag! Just gotta keep going, experience is the key and luckily you gain it just by doing more My work week done and early dentist tomorrow so I'm gonna play Two Point Hospital for a bit and then hit the hay, have a fab evening!

i got buncha cleanin and sorting done again today. my bro got his room all sorted out while i attacked it with him last week. he feels much more comfy in it. i got the hallway tore up and reordered things in totes and stuff so its much neater. livingroom and rest of bro's room and storage room is next but it'll wait.
tomorrow is carpal tunnel testing. probably gonna get poked with lil needles to test the muscles ow. but lets go. i'm nervous not being able to help as much this winter but my bro's home and we are in better shape than we usually are going into winter so hopefully it'll be ok. this is like the only point in my life i think i could go a few months not being super stronk with my hands and things be ok around me till im back at it.
chillin and playing some ace detective with seb. doing some craftrs on ff14. might toss some halloween around the guild house there. beautiful outside with the colors on the trees. got a lil mister bubbler witches cauldron with a lil "poison" labeled botttle that pretends to fill it. and a lil haunted house mister next to it. the cats have chilled enough they're loose in the house except at nite. plus ive cleaned a bunch so we dont worry as much. still kennelin overnite is all.
tomorrow i got buncha errands to get straight and get my booster shots b4 winter. lets go!

got boostered. flu covid and they tossed in hep a vaccine for garnish. been home cleanin and just now sitting down at 8pm getting tired and lil chilly. supposed to get 11 above freezing by mornin! chilly! imma go ahead and get settled in watching shows and got some choccy milk and chz pizza bout rdy with an ibuprophen. still gotta go for another checkup tomorrow at 1pm. hope i feel human enough to drive to that.
OH and i have severe carpal tunnel both hands BUT no muscle or nerve dmg. i just gotta get the surgery and i'll be set. they said just a week or so on pc. just 2 weeks to return to normal stuff aside from rly heavy lifting or power tools. those could be months to a year. family is on board with it tho so im scheduled mid november for the right one. the bad one. whole check up for nerve conduction and pokey poke test on bad hand was all of like 20 min lol. not bad at all!

Heeyy, got that tooth out yesterday, forgot how much it sucks lol, been on liquids only for the last 48hrs. I've had it done before but somehow forgot you can't have solid food for like 3 days sad Been a lot of huel and overcooked mac nd cheese you don't have to chew One more day and I can have soft solids, gonna be a spag bol I reckon lol Yaay to the fam coming together nd making things more harmonious for yah, you don't wanna rag your wrist in the middle of winter Watched Mulholland Drive with my last day off while laundry was going round, really good trippy movie tbf I gotta get it all ready to dry nd have my 3rd Huel of the day Have a great evening!

hey grats on that tooth being out! good reason to live off of soft scrambled eggs. if ya mix just a lil cream or milk into a few whipped makes for fluffier softer scrambled eggs slow tossed over low heat. mac n chz for the win tho definitly! spagetti too! hope it heals up soon!
got my boosters. i aint nearly as sick and wrecked as last year when i popped tetanus, pnuemonia, flu and covid shots all same visit lol.. so good deal! i've felt tired, wobbly lil fevery and chilly, nauseaus but not over the top and goes right away with ibuprophen so i expect tomorrow i'll be back to normal. and mom gets some new hearing aids tomorrow that'll be huge cuz she's had old ones and struggles to hear cuz it amps up background over ppl.
sebs playing my shadow gate beyond for me so i can kick back and be lazy. super nice! we beat inner worlds! turns out that cabin vacay we left one puzzle unsolved and we knocked it out in 10 min today lol. another one bites the dust. shadowgate beyonds amazing. only partway thru it! i was huge fan of shadowgate on nes back in day and they half finished this intending to release it long ago and never did. so recently they finished rest of it and tossed it on steam. real treat!

mom got a hearing aide today. new one! just for the right side where she has some hearing on. the other side is almost completely deaf. airbag malfunction back in the late 90s did it. but her hearing aides were like 16 years old and failing badly. she just wanted a good one for the right and one just like her old one which was tough cuz they're all new and fancy. she wanted flesh colored. bean shaped. runs on plain old batteries, same brand. well she got it. they just tested it out in a texas steakhouse and around crowds she can hear with all the background noise! im so happy for her!
i got all the house cleaned up and cats chillin and a big breakfast today of roast taters, omlettes and buttered toast.
gonna hit the shower after another lap or two walking then work on fixin up my house on wow b4 halloween decor hits!

Yeah mixed the eggs with butter nd milk with a sprinkle of salt, bf made em for me because I was feeling sorry for myself.
Deffo low and slow instead of high heat, ones done on high just come out like rubber
Pleased to report I am now up to spaghetti and pastries xp
Sorry to hear yah got run down, I find I always come down with a little something once the seasons change
Yaay glad your mom got that sorted, losing any sense can make you feel real disconnected from the world, even things like background chatter, how else can you listen in on other people's gossip? whee
I watched Perfect Blue last night and got so existential I stared at a wall for like 2 hours, the one positive to being so indisposed lately is I'm finding a lotta really good movies lol
Gonna have a fat nap then probably play a bunch of two point hospital as long as my PC doesn't crap out

Ayoooo Long tiring day today, didn't sleep the best last night then fell asleep for 3 hours the second I got home. Woke up in total sleep inertia now gotta figure out something to eat before I sleep again xp Probably what I need to be doing anyway to get this mouth hole to heal faster lol Have a great day

well lordie. i'll just be honest. cuz ya'll gon be old someday too and you'll be like.. well she did it. and lived lmao.. i went to get my dumb plastic jug from pharmacy after scheduling first colonoscopy cuz apparently 46 is the new old dramallama cheese_whine and i better not as my dr said "have to take it again for 10 years".. better not.. im screenin everything. im checkin every fookin leggo. gawd dang why cant we have a mechanic that just checks and fixes a human in a day or 3 and sends her home and leaves her the fook alone the rest of the year ammirite rofl
im two bottles into kava with a scissor sister playlist which makes me remember the decade with the best friend chris so i slapped his picture up on desk toasted him, remembered its dads bday. did the same for him. rockin out singing.
its a weird life lol.. they gave me a lemon flavor packet.. as if that's gonna fookin sell the gallon of bakin soda salt potassium powder in that jug lol. in a week and a half ya'll might not hear from me for a couple days. but i'll be aight! dramallama i aint having anything sneak up on me in old age if i can help it.
im getting everything checked 6 diff freaking appts to ppl cuz noone does 2 things anymore..

aaron i feel ya on bummin out sometimes. i swear i think my horomones just dip sometimes. other day i dropped like 3 things. mom dropped 3 things. we were cleaning tiny stone magnets outta floor, glass from a picture, water i knocked off lol... and by evening i was like.. just drop me off in the woods and run away it'll save money rofl
but we all still worth it! keep on keepin on! imma keep on making my brain fuzzy tonite! permanent crown monday! easy procedure. easy week ahead. we wont think about week after next!

Honestly, you just have to do what you have to do sometimes.
A guy I know who's older had to have the whole array of checks, including up his behind whee it turned out, he did have a tumour, he's had it all operated on, and he's good now, but if he hadn't done the checks who knows what would have happened. sad
So those things I will definitely not shy away from as I get older, especially because my family has a very big history with getting the big C, it's way better to be safe than sorry 😊
Aww man I LOVE the scissor sisters, its crazy that Jake Shears still looks amazing too, yah just age better if you aren't evil 😆

cooked a turkey that looked like it ate the rest of its flock.. 24 lb bastage lol. mom wanted a huge one. she did alot of clean up and deboning and bro helped on the deboning straining for broth. they won't let me do as much now that they know the carpal tunnel is severe.. funny cuz for me its been this way for years. a lil more work aint gonna kill it now but ok 4laugh
getting game chores done and gonna work on a bannister on a spiral stair i built on wow. painstaking but determined. it'll be meh when im done lol but it'll work for me. starting pink carpets everywhere since only colors of ceiling available were purple wood stone or red i went purple ofc!
chill evening incoming i hope! added all the scissor sisters to playlist now digging thru all the erasure songs, found a few newer ones and am tossing them in the playlist. need some positive s**t!

I've been so bad at checking in here, I don't think I can catch up on everything since my last post but I hope everyone is doing reasonably well! I started a new job a little over a month ago and it's been pretty exhausting - especially lately because a few people recently moved on to new things and one of the staff is on personal leave now but I am really enjoying it anyway, my colleagues are great to work with and my manager is fantastic.
I've had some terrible managers in the past who were always miserable and critical so it's such a refreshing change to have someone who believes in you and gives you encouragement. Yesterday she gave me the lead on a project and while we were working she said she was proud of me and I was really grateful. It's been a while since I was working in a place that felt like a good fit for me, I forgot what it's like to actually love your job.
