o_O If I become a college teacher for 3D modeling, then I'm a college teacher for 3D modeling. There's not much else they COULD make me teach. If that's what my master's is in, that's what I'm teaching. Colleges are not like public schools where you football coach is also your math teacher.

Well of course not. Nut I doubt they would allow someone who just graduated from their school teach there. Usually professionals of the trade become College professors after getting some sort of Glorification. Like how Authors usually teach English.

o_O this school only teaches up to Bachelors. I'd be getting my master's elsewhere. and I don't want to teach HERE. Screw that. And do you REALLY have aaaany idea what you're talking about? One of my teachers has had NO real industry experience to speak of, one of the others is a singer in a rock band who just happens to be a total master of Autodesk Maya and a totally credible teacher, and the third is just epic awesome. So it's not always like that.

Not yet..... I don't know where to go, and my department chair is NOT being helpful at all about it. sad I've got about a year and a quarter left here, so I've at least got SOME time, but it IS starting to worry me a little. It's difficult to find information on animation masters when most everyone only teaches to bachelors.

I can see how that would suck. Why the ******** are master animation scholarships so damn hard to find? Did you try anywhere in Asia?

Because most people get a bachelors in animation and then their masters in like....fine arts, or some s**t like that. Which I very well could do. And I actually realized the other day that I could get into some groups that will teach you how to teach 3D programs and such. So I'll probably look into that... I have mostly no interest in ever going to Asia, quite honestly. xd If I move out of the country, it's going to be to Germany, which is eventually a goal of mine to live there, but I doubt there's a 3D animation school there, seeing as most of Europe is still doing 2D, not because they don't have the tools, but just because they still really like it.
