~when~the~music~fades~ ((lmao, I like it too xD It's still my favorite pairing xDD ... He can still redeem himself?)) "I don't know." Mickey shook her head slightly. Her face fell, a sad expression replacing the angry one. She was gazing at the ground rather than glaring forwards. "So until you do have an idea what you want, I'm looking out for myself. And you're part of that, even if you want to be or not." Claw folded his arms over his chest again, arching his head so that it looked away from the half-demon.

"Whatever," the earth demon grumbled. "Let's just get back to the group." Mickey, without waiting for Claw, was already walking away.

Claw stuffed his hands into his pockets, and glumly followed after the half-demon. So it seemed that he'd only have the blankets for comfort, if her words had all been part of the act. Once again, that wasn't fair at all!

Mickey didn't say another word until they got back to the group. She then immediately headed over to Larissa and Nariko. "How'd it go?" the fairy murmured, offput by the expression on the half demon's face. "I don't know," Mickey replied bluntly.

Claw headed to his own corner, where he took a seat. He had nobody to talk to, now that Mickey had gone all emotional on him like that. Claw adjusted his position so that he was comfortable enough, muttering bitterly as he did so. With nobody to talk to, nobody to grab the spotlight of, Claw as beginning to talk to himself.

Hari watched the two come back over to the group but there was no particular reaction from the man. He didn't particularly care about what the two had gone to talk about; it was none of his business in the end. Night had already set over the town and the cold was starting to set in. The man was expecting for the group to go to sleep soon enough. The food, or the small amount that was left, had lost its heat and was cold now.

The half demon gazed at the food. She had no intention of eating the leftovers, but she needed something to focus her attention on. Larissa was the first to break the silence that had come over the group. "So, where are we sleeping?" she asked Hari tentatively.

"Out here..." the man answered though his voice wasn't the usual light-hearted one. Hari sounded more as though he was snapped back from a long session of thinking to himself.

"Okay..." Hari's response hadn't really told Larissa anything new. Silence settled on the group again.

"Well... is everyone going to go to sleep?" the man asked, letting out a slow breath. If no one was going to sleep then he planned to ask them what route they wanted to take the next day. There were many routes that they could take to Mercunias.

"I'm not tired, really, but I'll sleep if there's nothing else to do," Mickey spoke, her attention still focused on the remaining scraps of food. Larissa shrugged. She was a little sleepy, but she could easily stay awake a bit longer.

"I wanted to ask about the route that everyone wanted to take before we set out tomorrow morning," Hari started, shifting in his position a bit. His legs felt a little stiff and he felt the urge to walk it off, but he did not want to leave the group alone. They were far too rambunctious for many to handle.

"The shortest one," the half demon piped up as if it where obvious. At the exact same time, Larissa said, "The safest one."

"The shortest amount of time it would take would be about two days, or a day and night of walking. The shortest route also has no stops in towns so you wouldn't be able to eat until you arrive at the city," the man replied, smiling when the two answered at the same time, "Safety is nothing that is ever guaranteed anywhere, but there are not very many dangerous animals out here."

Mickey hesitated. Teasing her slightly, the fairy said to her, "Think you can go two days without food?" Almost immediately, the half demon spoke again. "You should know which route is best," she said, eying Hari warily. "So why don't you decide?"
