Kyle_Rayner It sounds so simple guys, but for some reason, nothing is being done. The number of users online at any time has inflated hugely since Halloween, but there are still either one or no mods online for most of the day. The AMC has gone totally to shirt. Its insane. stressed They also need to purge the memberlist of all the non-posting accounts... you know.. the ones made months and years ago with no posts in them.

It does sound simple! Hmmm. . .maybe if we all made another mule and named them Mods or something pertaining to the title and patrolled. . .*off to plot*

Maybe the admins fear the inevitable shitstorm that would come with appointing new moderators. Gaia is *very* nitpicky, cliqueish and is full of protest threads and "campaigns." Not to mention that HUGE arguments come about from things as simple as appointing a judge for an avatar contest.
It certainly doesn't change the fact that more moderators need to be appointed, but between fishing cheats, trade cheats and new features, I wouldn't be surprised if they'd just rather not deal.

Wow, good point Virgil. I personally think that the mods of each forum should be assigned to choose new mods. They know the regs, they know who is consistenly intelligent, and so on. It would probably be better to keep the mod appointments on the down-low, you know, not making a huge announcement like WE'RE MAKING NEW MODS NOW! Or they could just get together the current staff and make a tentative schedule, so no forum goes unmoderated for an extended period of time. Logan, I stay in KAPOW more and more myself. 3nodding

I'm here or not on...
Either way, eh to it all....
I have fun blasting people and then getting back-up from the Mods I do know to be loyal and around most of the time. If need be, I like Ollies idea of making accounts with things like Moderator 1, Gambino Moderator and so forth.

Actually, from my understanding those don't waste any space whatsoever. All they do is limit your name choices. Also Gaia numbers the accounts, so deleting them would cause some out of order skippage which would need to be corrected,

She's Etta Candy. One of the Holliday Girls, Wonder Woman's Co-ed sidekicks from the Golden Age. Etta nearly died of anorexia (before it was a known disease), and Wonder Woman discovered her problem and prescribed candy to solve it. Etta plumped up and became the most visible of the Holliday Girls... http://www.sufferingsappho.com/wrap/wall/ettawall.jpg
