Ashley nodded. "I have no idea my love." She leaned against him, slowly moving to sitting in his lap. She returned the kiss and sighed.
Tragedy, something that strikes when least expected. Why did this happen? No one knows. Ashley lurched forward, a dagger sticking in her back, the tip just barely sticking out the otherside. "Tatsu..." Her blood began spilling, soon though, pain and suffering would be beyond her.
In the shadows, some one ran quickly away. "That'll show 'em" Sami said, running off. She was stopped suddenly by an old man. The old man said something in an ancient forgotten language. Suddenly, Sami was sucked into the abyss, and like her sister, she would never be seen.
"I love you..." The words slipped from her lips and she continued looking up at him.

Tatsu felt her lurch forward. He looked at her....gazing at what has happened.
"ASHLEY!"
A tear....a tear of love...crawled out of his eye....turning into tears....tears for her....tears that would fuel him....fuel him to find who did this....this act of treachery...to his love...Ashley...
"Ashley...I was going to save this for the future....but now is the time....I...I love you with all my heart, and I wont let anyone take you from me...even if I have to take my own life to be with you....I want to be by your side...forever..."
He leaned closer to her, the dagger poking at his chest, and kissed her....he then leaned back, looking behind him, trying to see if her killer was still there, waiting to kill him.

Ashley shook her head. "You must live and move on. I know you have loved me and always will." She coughed once. "Just don't die for me." She held her hand on his chest. "Don't....theres others....out there....I've served my purpose...I....lo-" Her voice was chopped as she slumped over, her hand sliding down his chest. A lost love, a fallen worrior but most of all, a brave person. Ashley layed still in Tatsu's arms. She knew, before she died, who had killed her but she didn't say anything. "-ve you." she finished, and finally died in her love's arms.

Tatsu shook her a small amount, tears puring down his face.
"Ashley? ASHLEY!"
He brought her up closer to his chest and then saw the dagger, still sticking out. He looked at it, and then grabbed it and pulled it out. Tatsu gave her a final kiss...
" I love you....I will avenge you...No matter how long it takes."
Tatsu laid her limp, soulless body on a flat area of the roof and grabbed the dagger. He jumped up, to the highest point and saw the old man....

The old man hobbled down the street. "Such treachery. That oughta teach her." He stated as he continued hobbleing down the street, pulling his pack mule behind him.

Tatsu saw the old man walking away...he knew something and Tatsu wanted to know.
"YOU!" Tatsu screamed as he flew down to in the way of the old man. "Where do you think your going?"
Tatsu's eyes were blood red...his anger had taken over...nothing could stop his lust for vengeance.

"Oh. Oh dear." The man said. "You must be the lover. It was a girl, a young girl. She killed what looked like her sister." The old man said, "So I punished her, she no longer roams our realm nor can she com back." He said as he stood there, hunched over.

Tatsu spread his wings to full length and drew his sword from his side, preparing to kill...

"My son, so forward." The old man chuckled. It was easy to see he was an old worrior. "The girl who killed your lover, m'child, was her sister, twin at that. I banished her soul. She did wrong, so she got punishment." The old man chuckled again.

"Why did you get rid of her? Couldn't bare to see me tear someone apart? Can't stand seeing someone killing in cold blood?"
Tatsu began to slowly walk forward, his wings now emitting a thin, black smoke.

The old man shook his head. "Son, she could have easily come back if you had killed her, I was getting rid of her for good." He nodded. "Now go back and tell the young girl's mother." The old man waved his hand and poofed, was gone.

Tatsu stood there for a moment...realizing that he never told Ashley that Krs was her mother. Tatsu began to walk to the castle.
