"What'll happen....if I had found him..."Melia said, whispering into the wind as she walked deeper into the woods. She smiled and laughed abit, and looked skyward."I nkow..he'd have never let me come...he's so stubborn...but..it no longer matters...he's gone..and I'm here..no use crying over it."She said, thinking about her brother keeping back tears.

Aeife stirred, not yet asleep but not quite awake either. She felt Gordon's hand stroking her head and it made her feel strangely... It was a nervous sort of feeling, displeasing yet at the same time comforting. Soft sounds came from her as her eyes flinched, finally finding a state of rest and relaxation.

!EDIT! (Blah... I felt like adding more onto this and, rather than take up a million and one more posts extra, I figured it'd be easier to make one long extended post.)
~Still a long ways to go and no telling whether or not it'll be in vain in the end or not.~
*Mouse slowly caught his breath, seated beneath the branches of an elm. He'd travelled a good distance already, taking the most direct route that he knew between the ruins and the location that was revealed to him through Volgraza's visions bowl. However this didn't mean that it was going to be a short walk either, and he knew it. Exhaustion from a lengthy walk quickly caught up with him as he remained idle underneath the shade of the elm; a light nap was in his best interest in order to get a good distance further before nightfall. So Mouse shut his eyes and relaxed for a while against the trunk.
Slowly but surely, the nap turned into a deep slumber as Mouse approached the edge of dreamland and the vision was all too familiar. Kyvar stood ruined but the ruins were long since touched. An overwhelming heat surrounded him, but he cared little for it. All he heard were the sounds of a crackling fire and a woman's scream. Then it came. The unmistakable, uncontrollable rage. Time felt as though it halted to nearly a stand still. Sudden violent urges overcame him. He needed to strike something... No, someone...
The visions blurred into another, and this setting was no less familiar. The tavern at Quon was peaceful, if but for the short moment he and Acryn arrived. Then everything completely inverted.... The place became a slaughter house... Acryn began acting completely unlike herself, as did peaceful Lady Aeife who appeared on the scene shortly thereafter. Then, one by one, the entire town began to unravel. Soon all that was left was an inferno and a battle that raged on between a demon and one of the most passive people Mouse had ever known.
Beads of sweat blanketed his brow as slowly he sat up and began to realize that he was merely recalling events that had passed. Beyond that, he also realized that it was nearing sunset and he'd been sleeping for far longer than he'd wanted to. Clutching his crook, Mouse slowly stood and stretched before setting off southward once more.*

Aeife rolled to her side, slowly opening her eyes. It was already sunset. It was something of a surprise to her to know that she slept all day. Without really thinking, she rose from the bed and headed for the door. She wanted to sit out among the leaves and watch the sun fade in the distance.
So that's what she did. She left quietly, seeing that Gordon was asleep in the far corner, and wandered a distance away from the hollow tree. It wasn't a kilometer, at least she didn't think it was. She couldn't have been too sure.
As she walked toward the setting sun, she found a small clearing in the middle of the forest. There wildflowers bloomed in tall grasses encroached by growing saplings. There was a break in the trees that allowed the sunlight through. even at this time of day. The field was a soft glowing orange in it's light. It brought a peaceful feeling that seemed to wrap around her like something tangible.

Caliesil woke up to a bear cub staring him in the face. "Ever here of personal space?" he asked the creature. Of coarse it had no idea what he was saying for he spoke aloud. "Guess not." he said getting up and walking out slowly out of the cave. He looked at the rising sun. "A whole bloody day...well maybe they came out of there god damn hole." he said grinning. He stretched and cracked his neck. "I'll be right back, don't worry I just have some things to take care of first." he said turning to the female bear. he leaped up into the closest tree and began to tree hop towards the barrier, to see if they came out yet. He came close to it and then he saw her...Aeife. She was inside it though...not enough so as he could to talk to her though. So damn close, he thought as he looked at her from a great distance. To far for a normal human, Aeife was every thing but that, was she even human. Caliesil didn't know nor care, he did know that she acted human with the emotional lay backs of humans so why not. If he could just convince her she is out of the protective field he would have her. he made his way over to her slowly being quite then he yelled. "Aeife! Quite a bit ways from your barrier aren't you?" he asked grinning, and stopping at the spot he was, which was where the barrier really was, he could feel it just there. "Now can we talk? I will stay this far away as a show of respect. Don't even bother running either the barrier is a good 100 yards behind you. And I can catch you and force you to talk, but your lucky I am a nice guy." he said putting on that stupid grin of his again. “And trust me...you don’t want me to get angry!” he said a hint of rage in his voice.

*dameon lay on the roof... he had climbed there earlier in the day when the owner of the house had not come back... he figured it would be rude to present himself with a room so he figured or at least hoped the man wouldnt mind him laying on the roof. he had been there for hours already and he had to admit it was quite peaceful*

Melia stopped and stared blankly as she reached a small clearing. She bent down and watched her reflection in a stream. She slightly smiled, then falling on her back ad sighing."I wish every day would be like this."She whispered, closing her eyes.

*wakes up, finding everyone gone* Aeife? oh...s**t! *grabs a sword and a small shield and follows her tracks to a small clearing, just in sight of the edge of the barrier, marked by trees with the limbs cut off at eye level. he breathed a sigh of relief that she was still safe and stayed in the shadows. but Kel wheels around ahead and lands on a branch nearby Aeife, so that she knows that he's nearby and she's still in safe lands*

*he began humming to himself as he rested with his hands behind his head, his eyes closed. He bobbed his feet with the mellow tune, he couldnt remember the last time he was so happy, it was probably because he couldnt remember the last time he was so at peace.*

Aeife looked at Caliesil sternly, hearing a hawk land on a near by sappling's branch. From the way he spoke and where he stood, she couldn't tell exactly what it was he was up to. So maybe she had passed through the barrier... But if she had, why not attack her straight out? This demon, though she encountered him before, was something of a mystery to her. It would be best to simply not believe anything he said.
"What do you want?" she asked angrilly with an equally miffed look in his direction, as if he had interrupted her doing something important.

The portal opened, and Geo came out. Mouse was still here, he knew it. He just had to find him, and chase him. However, he was not comforted by the fact that so many other energies were around him. He would most likely run into trouble, which was perfectly fine with him.
He ran through the forest, possessed with his one urge to find Mouse. Branches broke as he passed, wild plants withered up and died, he made a ruckus heading through the forest.

"To be honest...I want to get that animal rage out of you again." he said smiling. "But I want to know another thing as well. why do you fight for those that are just going to kill each other any way? You stand up for rapist, murderer's, women beaters. You protect all these horrible men, and granted women. I just want to know why do you protect them?" he said not moving an inch.

Aeife narrowed her eyes. So he wanted her to become that... That thing again? In that case, she would just have to disappoint him. She had looked away for a moment, but now raised her head to look at Caliesil once more.
"Because... They deserve a second chance. Everyone does... Whose right is it to be the judge, jury, and execustioner of man-kind? No one has that power nor should they possess it. I fight to protect those second chances and... Because... I'm still searching for my first chance."
What was her life, anyway? What did she amount to in this world?
