"Gee, thanks," said Mickey dully. "Well, either way, you can't call me Mick-Mick."
"Well, that's good, since I'm going to anyway."

Larissa narrowed her eyes and looked out further. She had an urge to fly out over the water, but didn't. "I can't tell..." she murmured.

Kaida watched Sanzo dive under. Where does he think he's going? she thoguht, but couldn't dive under for fear of losing Nariko.

Fai watched the surface of the lake as though something were going to happen though nothing did. He slowly put Lilin down onto the ground, making sure that she wasn't lying on anything sharp. "Well, there's only one way to find out, isn't there," he stated softly, though amusement seemed to be drenched in his voice, "Let's go out and see who it is. At least those of us who want go greet these people... Then we can take them back to shore."

"Stay here... Watch Lily and see if she wakes up," Fai told the group with a smile before taking off his shoes and running into the lake, eventually diving into it. He wasn't sure who was going to be at the lake or even how far out they were.

"And I'm sure you three girls all know how to get around this foreign world, right?" Izumi asked, trying not to scoff.
"That's why we're exploring, idiot," Mickey said with a frown.

Larissa almost laughed. Swimming was so obvious, how could she have missed it? She sat down next to Lilin and watched the lake.

"Renya-sama..." a man called, running after the brunette.
The young woman stopped and looked over her shoulder with a spaced-out look on her face. "What is it?" she asked softly though her voice made it obvious that she was in a different place. The man moved back a step, noticing the airy-ness to her voice and bowing a bit to the woman. He knew that when she was in such a state that she was fighting feelings of helping one of the sides that were competeing with each other.
"Renya-sama, there are reports from the Demon Faction that Kaede-sama and Hige-sama are not happy with your actions towards them. They believed that you had a bond with them and that you would be working with them," the man told her. He watched the woman very carefully, looking for any changes in her at all since those signs would tell what she would do. He had attended to her since she was small so he knew of how to react to what she did. The woman didn't seem to do anything though, which should have been a relief for the attendant but for some reason it worried him even more than if she had flung something at him. "Re-Renya-sa...ma?" he started again, this time catching a suddel(sp) twitch of the woman's fingers.
The woman quickly lifted her hand and then threw it to the side, swinging it at empty air. The wind from the two motions though ripped a large crack in both the wall and the floor, the man having barely missed being hit by the wind that struck the floor. "I don't care what they think. I'm through with this resurrection thing and with them. Kikunosuke told me about what happened at the melting of the Hani Torii. If those beings are something to be feared then I want no part in it. It ruins everything that our clans have strived to do," the woman told the man though there was no hate or anger in the voice, "But don't get me wrong. I won't help the Hani-bito or Mizu-bito... They have the Mizu-bito anyway...." Her voice was too soft and gentle to convey the emotion of frustration that she wanted to give off, it only made it sound like she was going to cry.
"Renya-sama..." the man started, looking at her with a pitiful look on his face. He shook the look off his face though, knowing that what the Kaze-bito wanted was not pity or comfort. Still, he wasn't quite sure what the woman wanted from everybody else. "I'll relay this message back, Renya-sama." With that, he ran off in a different direction, leaving the woman to walk to wherever she was headed to.

Lilin had reacted a little to being set down, opening her eyes a little as she heard splashing in the background. "Wha? What's going on?" the girl asked in a very soft voice as she pushed herself up and looked around sleepily.

"F-Fai!" the girl started, getting up almost immediately and heading towards the edge of the lake. She didn't know if he could swim or not, evidently he could since he was doing it now. "Nobody went with him? What if they intend to harm?" the girl asked.

"Ah, wait!" the girl cried out, reaching out but not grabbing. She couldn't even remember the winged girl's name to help specialize the statement. Still, she couldn't just let her go out like that, could she? She didn't want to think about what could happen if there was an incredibly strong person out in the middle of that lake.
