Rihara saw Dulce look at her, a mere glint of recognition in his eyes; this confused Rihara, as she would probably have remembered this deamon if she did know him.
Turning back to Arimwen, Rihara was about to replie, when she suddenly saw an image of those snake-like, blood-flecked eyes of Aduro's...the exact same eyes that the other deamon posessed...Rihara did know him, and how well she knew him!

Soirka stopped playing her harp for the tune was making her sad. If only... she stopped herself, it would be best if her thoughts did not roam there. But it was like pandora's box, now the thoughts were loose in her head she couldn't ignore them and she sauntered to the bar. "I was wondering if you have a letter for me," she enquired.
The merry bartender rubbed his chin as he checked but, to her surprise pulled out several crumped white envelopes. He flicked through them then stopped.
"Soirka?" he asked, she nodded and he handed over a envelope.
"Thank you," she answered then collected her harp and went upstairs.

Soirka sat and read the letter several times before sighing deeply. She was torn between what she wished she should do and what strictly she couldn't do. She folded the letter into her harp case and began to pack. If the Gods cursed her for eternity for this then so be it.

The Incubus could feel a sudden sadness as the angel behind him now stood and left the room, stopping shortly at the bar for something he couldn't see.
He let out a tiny sigh and wondered if Aten was getting cold yet.
Suddenly, quick flashes of the Succubus appeared in his mind, followed by very faint flashes of someone so familiar.....but why him? Were they connected? He couldn't remember.....His time with the Samlin clan had long passed, he could barely remember faces. His own mother could be in the Luz de la Luna and he probably wouldn't recognise her.

Soirka shouldered her bags and went down the stairs, she did not know if she would be returning here but she hoped she would be. A prang of sadness passed through her slim frame, this was the first place she had trully felt at home, where no one had judged her for the actions of.... she stopped herself... she would only get angry.
She walked up to the bar and handed her room key to the bar tender "Thank you for everything," she spoke, he smiled and she headed over to the door.

As the Two Deamon's eye's met, Rihara got up from her seat aggresively and walked briskly towards where Dulce was seated. Sitting down next to Dulce, she met his gaze again, and her heart was filled with a mix of wonder and fury at seeing those cruel, golden-red eyes again. Snarling slightly, Rihara spoke to him:
"So...it is you after all. I'd hoped I'd seen the last of you when you left to make your sordid little Clan of monsters...Dulce..." She said the name as if it had a bad taste, the blue of her irises almost consuming her pupils.
"It's bastards like you that give the rest of us a bad name. I swear to the Sanctuary I'll kill you if you hurt any of my friends here."

Arimwen pushed Rihara back a bit. "It is not the time nor the place for battle," he said calmly clearing his mind of his own sadness long enough. "Breath, let the darkness die, and the light come. Become come and relaxed. Do not let a demon even a fool like this one govern your choices."

Dulce smirked darkly at the Succubus and merely waved a hand at her mockingly.
"I knew I recognised you. You were the blue-eyed, violet-haired, fiery-tempered woman I saw many a time with.......with my brother...."
He looked down in disgust at his last word.
"If anyone had brought shame......that imbecile......he went soft in his old age. Couldn't see the power reaching out and waiting for him if it hit him smack between the eyes."
He merely glowered at Arimwen, the end of his tail snaking its way around one of the hunter's legs. He sneered.
"I'm content with where, what, and who I am, thank you. Weaklings like....." he stopped, having to bring himself to say the name of his own brother.
"Like.....Aduro.....are welcome to stay within the clan's limits. I have better things to do with my time, and my power."

Rihara tensed and flinched under Arimwen's firm grasp, heading his calming word, and refusing to be enraged. She hissed as Dulce spat out insults againt her most dear of friends. Her black nails extended slightly from her hands and her canines lengthed, as she heard the mockery of Aduro continue, though Arimwen continued to hold her back.
"You think you have power because the helpless bow to your wishes? You're nothing but a common thug..." She said quietly but her tone was fierce. Her anger was manifesting itself more and more on her body.
"Aduro is one of our finest Honour Guards, what have you to your name Dulce? As I recall you are the coward who slunk off in the night..."
The black and purple stripes that graced her skin when she shape-shifted began to appear on her body. She longed to transform and rip that calculating sneer of his face.
"You...you do not deserve a brother like Aduro.... you could never be his equal...you'll always be lower than a skulking worm..." She said, pulling a little against Arimwen's grip, her flaming blue eyes meeting the bloody red of Dulce's cold, cruel stare...

"Rihara, do not make me become a demon just to keep you down," said Arimwen tightening his grip on her. "You can keep from this idiot for just a bit longer and I will let go. If not I will keep you down myself."
He then turned the man making fun on them. "As for you idiot. You make one more mean gesture to her and I will see to it that you never see the light of day again, but only the burnning pits of Hell."

The Incubus merely chuckled at the evident fury in the woman before him.
"A thug, you say? Dear Rihara, I invited my new family to join me on our quest, if any of my clan wish to speak against me they may do so. Of course, they may not live to tell the tale..." he trailed off and chuckled once more, his deep crimsold-gold eyes almost laughing at her as well.
"But that, my dear, is life. Eat or be eaten," he began as he began to pace slowly around Rihara and Arimwen, then back to his original place. His hands were clasped together behind his back, the smirk never leaving his slender, handsome features.
"Ooh, yes, I heard of my brother's ascent in the ranks," Dulce mocked, "But I must say, I'd rather be a so-called coward with a clan of his own and plenty of power and freedom at his disposal, than a government tool, bound by his limitations and sworn to his duties, handed out to him by a higher-class guard."
His tail began to sway as he felt the rise in anger in the Succubus, and that cold, heartless grin never left his soft, silken lips. He leaned forward so that his face was close to Rihara's.
"Better a free worm than a trapped rat, my dear....." he hissed into her ear, his tongue becoming longer and snake-like, as his pupils began to dilate so that they were but mere rounded slits. his large wings fluttered slightly as a calm wind seemed to blow through the bar, chilling many of the customers.
At this moment in time he found the demon hunter to be a bore and thus ignored him. 'Why waste time with someone unworthy of your presence', he always said.

Arimwen yelled in the tongue of demon. "You idiot and fool. I would kill you right now if I wanted to, but I choose not you," his speech was prefect for that of a demon. He rubbed his ring and said a few words. Then became his large brute demon form. He walked forwards towards the Incubus to grab him by the throat.

Soirka paused at the door and watched the scene unfold before her. She then shrugged and headed out into the snowny landscape, it was nothing to do with her and doubted they would be happy with her involvement.

"Arimwen, don't be a fool!" Rihara said grabbing his hand and pulling him away from the still-grinning Dulce. Moving his horned head close to her own she whispered: "This is not your battle friend, this is between me and that creature standing there." she nodded her head in Dulce's direction.
Straightening again she turned to Dulce and gracefully withdrew the long-curved, red blade, intricately carved with Deamonic manuscript, she took a few small steps between Dulce and Arimwen:
"So far your only power has been to mock and sneer, come now, you can fight better than that, can't you? Oh powerful leader.." Rihara said sarcastically, lightly leaning on the gleaming blade.
"Every leader has duties and if you have forgotten that, then a pretty poor leader you must be." She reponded her voice still holding a mocking tone.
"Let me tell you this Dulce. At least we "rats" have honour which is more than a heartless murderer such as yourself will ever know. If you disagree, then we will step outside, and you may prove your prowess..." She said witha smile, her anger replaced with a sense of duty and excitement.
By now the bar had fallen slient as they noticed Rihara unsheath her sword. Organ looked at the two enemies dissaprovingly and gestured to her to leave. Rihara nodded back smiling, and waited for Dulce's response.

It is now about nightfall, the last light of the sun is shining. The patrons of the Inn will be migrating back to their homes or rooms for the night..
