I'm finishing up a term paper and just found out that one of my references is by a guy WHO HAS MY NAME!
Okay, it's not quite the same, he spells it with an O instead of a U, but STILL.

Holy crap, I've been away a lot.
I haven't been doing much conlanging because I haven't had a lot of free time. I've read about half of a book all the past semester--total--outside of schoolwork. *sigh*
I probably shouldn't have even done that much...
I'm taking 21 [maximum!] hours this semester, plus 8 hr/week minimum job. I really need good grades this semester.
I do plan to get on here, but I probably won't be conlanging much, just commenting here and there. Moderating when I see something that has a problem, though I usually don't see any problems anyway.

I said I would be more active here, and then... well, I went on a small trip to Teresópolis (it's a small town, two hours away from Rio, in the mountains) for twenty days. sweatdrop Well, now I do have until march to work on my conlangs 3nodding

Let's see... in the past year...
I've managed to
-Forget most of the Spanish I know confused
-Get a job tutoring Russian blaugh which I shortly had to quit gonk
-Shift major (CompE to EE)
-Almost lose scholarships crying
-Delay my graduation a year stare
-move about fifty billion times gonk At least I'm no longer in University housing
- Oh yeah, forget all my conlangs... :/ At least I remember their names?
Sigh.
How've you guys been?

In the past year, I've:
-fallen in love even though I swore I wasn't going to xp heart
-also moved sad
-also delayed my graduation, and have considered switching majors or something but I don't know what else I could go into confused
-gone to Maryland, that's right, Kitsune actually WENT somewhere 8D
-creeped on the guild, but haven't posted much
-stopped talking to my father entirely
-stopped taking German
-forgotten most of my conlangs
So yeah. I feel you, forgetting lots of languages. sweatdrop

Hey! I'm alive as well. Although I can't say that my life has completely changed, those past few months have kept me very, very busy. So once in a while I post on gaia, and my conlang ideas aren't abandoned yet, but bacteria grows faster than them. sweatdrop

Blahhhhh!
So, yeah. I remember a year ago I had all the free time in the world, and thought that even in college, I would have hours of free time to do whatever I wanted. Well, I was right about that most of the time. But apparently what I wanted to do was to NOT get on gaia, and instead do things that you can do in college, like spend 983454 hours a day with people. It may also be because my university is along the coast blaugh
Either way, I spent more of my time playing on the beach and trying to keep a fairly active social life than I did online, and up until the end of the year, I didn't touch languages. But eventually language withdrawal got to me (it was the first time since 8th grade that I had gone more than 3 months without being in a language course. It hurt me on the inside ._. ) Anyways, right around april, I suddenly got the urge to conlang 24/7. I almost skipped a few meals until I remembered I could bring my computer with me, and then after that my computer went everywhere with me. I had to force myself to do work that I otherwise really enjoyed doing xD
It's nice to finally be on summer break but now I'm NOT near a beach =( Stupid Vermont. It needs to have shoreline.
Anyways, rant aside, I don't know if this post really has a point, but I felt like posting it anyways
