He looked a lot older, indeed!! *giggles* Now, if he was supposed to be in the third OVA, maybe he is in the Eikou Den novel!! eek *rushes to read Tetris' tranlation* I think Ami appears as Kaika in the Eikou Den novel but I'm not quite sure... whee Speaking of novels, there was this really adorable illust. that Watase-sensei drew of a 16-year-old Chiriko and Miiya (a new character in Yuuai Den--Chiriko-chan's novel written by Nishizaki Megumi featuring a couple of drawings of various scenes by Watase herself). There's a reason behind why he's 16-years-old but you have to read the novel to find out. domokun  He totally smacks of Appare Jipangu's Samon. xp P.S. I don't like to keep people dangling much so he's 16 cause... << Subaru used her magic to turn him and Miiya 16 so that they could have a nght out together without Miiya's brother knowing about it.>>

But the spoiler made me interested in the novel. The only one I've read so far is the Ryuusei Den (the twins novel), so I guess I should read more.
But Eikou Den will come first...

Yea I haven't really read any of them except for the two Eikouden novels. I want to read Hotohori, Nuriko, and Tasuki's novels, but like with Mitsukake and Chiriko I was never really interested. I mean I feel bad and all because they're like the most jilted characters in FY, but I'm just not that interested in them ^^;;; Anywho, on the topic of FY, at my first Anime Central convention back in 2003 I got this gorgeous art print that was one of like five. Since then I haven't been able to find the others until recently. Yesterday I finally got them to scan and spliced the two halves together since the prints were too big to scan in one picture. Since they're pretty large pictures I'm just going to post the links, I'm sure you guys have probably seen these pictures, but these two are some of my prized possessions ^^ I'm looking into getting them framed soon. The Manda Yea I haven't really read any of them except for the two Eikouden novels. I mean I feel bad and all because they're like the most jilted characters in FY, but I'm just not that interested in them ^^;;; I know what you mean, on all counts. whee I want to get around to reading Mitsukake's novel soon (Oumei Den) because I'm interested in his past relationship with Shouka, but it's like I can never find time to get myself to actually go through it. domokun I will say that he looked tons better as a teenager/younger dude though. He had better hair. sweatdrop

my goodness eek i just saw all the pretty pictures on the last couple of pages and went bonkers xp i'll read what everyone wrote later tonight but seriously, i had no idea that was the 16-year-old chiriko until i read the post about 10 minutes later sweatdrop so Samon-like...i dont suppose thats a good thing? but its still a cute picture 3nodding is it just me or do the females seem to have more uniqueness than the guys this time? in the pictures Asano Rain posted   maybe its just the color...agh, but then that wouldnt even make sense! wait wait, is that manato and asuka? i was wondering who that boy that was smiling and looked like koki was heart koki looks to stern though...and that looks nothing like tamahome crying its kind of strange to see them all in one style neutral

I like to see them all in the same drawing, because this is Watase-sansei's best style so far. whee

I'm still a huge fan of Watase-sensei's Ayashi no Ceres artstyle but her current style is definitely ace too. I agree that it's fun seeing all of her leads in one place and in one style. The girls' side looks prettier because it's more colorful (the guys' side looks so dark). xp
Buahaha, I absolutely love that Kouki's holding a trowel in his hand, though. whee

*cough* whoa...sorry i just saw the BIG sketch of aki again and freaked and breathed and yes.
i like the original tamahome though neutral for some reason he looks younger and more naive in this one...not that the tama in volume 1 wasnt naive but this one just...i cant explain it
alice stands out too though. she, asuka, and yusura were the ones that stood out the most to me 3nodding asuka looks really pretty there too...looks more mature than aya which surprises me since i always considered aya to be the most mature heroine (by the end of the series) then again i havent read all of SMO and aya's hair is still long

Tama and Miaka look very perky in Watase's new art. Perky in that it looks like they're having tons of fun doing whatever they're doing. xp I'll post some images of them drawn in Watase's current style later but first, an homage to a great [tragic] couple from AyaCere, my favorite Watase manga:  This was a zennin (send-in gift) from Sho-Comi, I think. There was also this Yuuhi/Aya zennin card, I believe, that had Yuuhi embracing Aya from behind. I had a really tiny picture of it from god knows where I found it but I lost it when I had to surprise-reformat my computer. I've never seen a scan of it since... v.v
