"Why don't you just shoot it then?" Ashlin suggested, 'Or drop it off to someone who wants a troublesome little pet?"

Rhiannon was amused, but kept rowing. Her arms were burning, and oh, did she love it; sometimes, Rhiannon was too fiery and rough 'n tumble to be a girl. Actually, most of the time was more like it; she adored competition, wrestling, fighting, drinking, smoking, hunting, whatever she pleased when she pleased it, regardless of who said what. It was hard for her not to be a captain, but she considered her place somewhere slightly below Gibbs.
In the worst of situations, she'd have Jack's back, at least until she had her ship and share of treasure.
But if the monkey stole things, she'd be sure to keep it at a fair distance.
A faint glimmer of sweat started to appear on her arms, a testimony to the work she was doing; she looked pleased and content. The burn only meant she'd be getting stronger. Regardless of how sore her arms were tomorrow, her pride was such that she would keep the pace without complaint. If Rhiannon was anything, she was tough, resilient and resourceful. Jack had the biggest hand in making her this way.
"Out of curiousity, how far up is it?" she asked after a while longer, her pace unfaltering. "I'm not going too fast am I?" Always a joker. She smiled a bit. "You know, if you wanted to catch the monkey all you'd have to do is place something shiny out in the open, incorporate a trap. The way to catch a thief is to use his love of riches against him."
Even if it wasn't, the last comment seemed directed against the quest in itself. It was always a possibility.

Rhiannon chuckled and shook her head. "My goodness, only another mile??? I thought this was going to be work," she teased, her arms hauling the weight through the water, her breath controlled and even. "When was the last time those wiry arms of yours did anything to strengthen up?" she asked Jack with a smirk. "You're looking pretty gangly, pretty thin... When's the last time you ate a decent meal?"
That was a valid question. She had the feeling if she wasn't careful, she was going to get stuck as cook.
If he made her do that she swore to the gods of the sea and sky that she'd drug him.

"Understandably so." Rhiannon sympathetized, "When we get a spare moment, perhaps I'll see what I can do for you. I'd feel terrible beating up a skeleton, you were filled out more like a man last I remember. What all kindsa food you have on the ship?? Any potatoes by chance??? Damnit, I miss potatoes," she muttered mostly to herself. "Maybe some onions, any sorts of vegetables.... You know we could always fish," she suggested. "There are bound to be plenty swimmin' all around us."
She would have liked a fish to flop into the boat right then. "I wouldn't mind catchin' a rabbit m'self..." she mumbled. "Been a long time since I had that. Or salmon. Mm....."
She was a bit hungry herself, her stomach growling, but she didn't mention it further. If anything, she was a tad parched.
Gibbs could row on the way back.

"I thought we didn't turn." Rhiannon teased, but the issue about food she nodded once in agreement. One arm rested as the other manuevered the boat around, then both pulled back in one long stride, propelling them towards the city. "Suppose they have anything to hold us over here? We'll have to be careful pulling into anywhere the King has guards at... So what is this place???" she asked, eyes meeting Jack's again. The start of adventure was already running in her blood, it was evident; that it was thinner from the alcohol didn't help. "Never seen anything like it."

Rhiannon stretched her arms in satisfaction, exiting the boat after Jack, sauntering smoothly behind him. Stair climbing would be good for her legs. Her eyes began to catch the little details of the place, widened in wonder; she played her curiousity down rather well. "So why only 'the most dire o' need', Jack?"

Ashlin hoped out of the boat the second it was docked. She was as eager too see exactly who this Tia Delma was. The swamp adn the hut had did nothign but arowse teh girls' curiiousity even more. That and she was starting to feel sore in her arms and wanted this to be well worth the trouble.

Will followed behind Elizabeth with a slight frown in his features. He didn't know what exactly Jack was playing at by coming here, only that he had to get teh heart, had to free his father and...well whatever came next woudl come, wouldn't it?
