UnicornBee Silvander That's awesome. I'm gonna be stuck with the family computer forever, lol. I'm graduating next saturday, but we have no classes this week because they love the seniors. We had a week off too before graduation. Im glad to be out of there *glomps* Guys, this is my friend Missy. Lithael, one of my dragons, is going to live with her when he gets older.

*sigh* Graduation dress rehearsal was so annoying...They said they had to teach us how to walk. So we spent almost 3 hours learning how to "walk slowly" in time with the music and our partner. stare And now I have 6 hours to blow with nothing to do. *sigh*

Chels Chels *sigh* Graduation dress rehearsal was so annoying...They said they had to teach us how to walk. So we spent almost 3 hours learning how to "walk slowly" in time with the music and our partner. stare And now I have 6 hours to blow with nothing to do. *sigh* I remember my grad rehearsal. Booooring.

Why? It was back in '98... one of the hottest summers on record and we had a big problem with brush fires (so bad infact that you could get arrested/given a big fine for throwing a lit cigarette butt out of the car during this very dry season) So not only was it very hot, and very dry... we had to wear those navy blue gowns on top of our formal wear... several people got heat storke and fainted while the UCF arena was being seated.... that took several hours and we had to wait outside in the back and no one thought of bringing water or having a water vendor out there =/
I heard that they changed the way they did that for the following year but I didn't stick around to learn about what the changes were.

Ouch. That would have sucked...
I almost threw up and passed out at the commencement ceremony. And I even managed to unnerve the school board president. sweatdrop [I got really dehydrated due to our diet since my Grandma got here and how hot it was with my formal attire and gown...]
After my rehearsal my grandma started bawling her eyes out, telling me it was all her fault my dog was sick and it was all her fault my graduation was ruined and all this other crap. SO ANNOYING!
On the bright side. I got just over $1000 for graduation...and now have my own computer, phone hook up, fixed my Dad's computer for my brothers, fixed my Mom's computer, AND bought myself "Battle for Middle-Earth". xd

Hi all!!
Graduation. I did that. Twice. lol
Once for High School & once for College.
It took 5 hours for practice in HighSchool & took 2 hours in College. And I think my college graduating class had more people. Their trick - when you get to the doorway, count to three, then go. Simple as that. No walking to the music, feeling the beat, bull.
Just count 'n' go!

*drool over the new booze that the first paycheck bought*
I'm going to make some apple martinis and play wow... I busted my butt big time ^^ 3nodding blaugh xd 4laugh
Wendsday, we move out of the training room and into yet another cube... but it is much nicer than my first one... (and radios are allowed heart )

They're just as formal, but they realize that (almost) all of us are adults and therefore do not need to repeat and repeat and repeat... and give us a little more respect that we received in High School. ~Jett

what a wonderous theory. I have no clue if I'll attend my college graduation. I'm in a 5 year program with co-ops and such, so I may do a co-op, technically graduate, then start working the day after my co-op ends with the same company. And this could be anywhere in the country/world (I want to co-op in France once if possible). So coming into town to get my diploma may not happen. Plus, I have no patience at all for pomp and circumstance.

My dog is FINALLY getting better now that my Grandma has been gone a few days. [She left last Friday.] We haven't been eating horrid amounts of sweets or drinking too much soda since then, either, so I feel a lot better too. The only problem is..my dog is now VERY unruly because my Grandma let her get away with ANYTHING...Before my Grandma got here, Aria was very good about not going in the house or eating from the trashcan - and especially about not begging for food. Now she won't eat her dog food until its painfully obvious she isn't getting human food, she goes in the house ALL the time, and she's almost ALWAYS in the trash can or on the counter stealing food. So much for a semi trained puppy. stare
Silver - I used to have to learn how to play Pomp and Circumstance. I'd have to say its more boring playing it, then having to listen and walk to it. xp [Not to mention holding a viola up for 20+ minutes straight can hurt...Thankfully I only had to do that for rehearsals because I could always manage to find an excuse out of going to graduation to play. xd ]
BY THE WAY! Today is Sam's [Kally] birthday today!! She's 17 now!!! So, wish her a happy birthday, guys!!
