Vance lifted his head to peer up at Lydia inquisitively from beneath some long cloaks. "Thank's, Love." She slid him the tray, and at the moment where both there hands touched it, he got a sense of something. She was a good block, but he was very sensitive to friends. "So... anything new?"

"I have a preety impossible situation to deal with...oh, and they want to search your room. is there anything you want me to hide or get for you? They'll probably be stalled for an hour."

there was a light tapping on the door.
"Azera, we're going to send you back into the human camps to retreive more of the imprisioned people. The humans should still be recoorperating, so it should be an easy task for you."

Azera left from her meeting and hurried down the hall towards the dinning hall and made small talk with the soldiers. She knew that on mission days one simply disappeared with no warning along with a few others. Tonight they were going back for remaining slaves and since the task was supposed to be simple she decided that it was the perfect oppertunity for breaking in the new recruits to her divison recently promoted yet completly unaware of the fact a group of six including herself would surfice so her four best plus the most promising of the list she had been given for evaluation seemed like a plan. Let's see I'll need Seifer of course he would tear this place apart if he suddenly couldn't locate me when I disappeared at night. I should take my second in command Feriz and definitly need my navigator Demin and Wiz for security detail and let's see this one seems good. Brawn, a bit dim witted for my taste but he seems to be the brightest lightbulb of this bunch and he is kind. He could also use the pay increase the most with that new baby. Jurith welcome to the Shadows from now on no one knows that you exist in this base outside of us. Azera closed her book after she had completed her plans. she had maps, the amount of water skins she would need, food to last them plus the rescuees, a detailed set of profiles on those she was saving, who she recommended for her job if she didn't return, you know all the important things that served little purpose when you actually were out there Yolanda would want it all and she needed the provisions by midnight so they could leave at hopefully 12:30.

Vance didn't hesitate to answer Lydia, "Don't move anything. Don't even go in there. If you do, they will catch your scent and want to search you next." His piercing eyes stared into her's. But Lydia's mind was like a stone wall at the moment. That could at least tell him one thing. "Are you hiding something from me, dear? I can't think of what, that at this moment, could dissable me any more than I already am." He glanced around comically at the inside of her closet.
(((How much longer in this closet? I'M starting to feel clostraphobic! By the way, I'm drawing a group picture! There's Vance, Lydia, Seifer, Azera, and Lorezai. Any opinions? Oh, and by the way, whatever happened to Bujmar, Creiai?)))

The intesity of his gaze startled her. She hadn't seen him like that before.
"They're already suspisious of me." She said. "Do you need me to cloak anything? I can do that from here, and I highly doubt that there's anyone who'd be able to tell." She looked down, thinking, then smiled slightly.
"it's nothing." she said shaking her head. "That's the problem with being a seer, it tends to lead you into endless conflicts about what to do before something even happens!" she sighed.

Aros leaned back in his chair, musing over hte prediciment of Vance...and his own.
Why can't she just leave me alone? Shes preppy, self-centered, a slut, and not to mention half my age. Damn her for finidng me. He said, letting out a soft sigh. oops. Lorzerai didnt look like she had noiced, so he relaxed, pondering what he should do.

Lorzerai turned abruptly away from Aros, hissed softly, and then stood and marched away from him, not daring to look behind her to see if he was still there. She walked and walked until she was very thirsty and sure he was staring at her conspiciously not-retreating back and laughing at her. She could even imagine his shoulders shaking, as he would not conceal his merriment. She could see his smirk as he said again that her mind was unclear or something stupid like that. With a roar, she whipped out her knives (the ones he'd forgotten to take from her,) and spun and half-leaped toward where he would be sitting if she had indeed not gone anywhere.

(((Don't worry Wingless. I paid real close attention to all descriptions and attatched pictures while working on this. Speaking of which, Lydia's weapon picture.. the link doesn't work! I guess it's ok, since I've already posed everyone so they don't have their weapons. And ooh... who's Aros talkin' bout? neutral )))
Vance leaned back on his palms, legs crossed. He looked up at Lydia, and slowly said, "There is one thing... I don't want them touching. Or smelling. Or generally getting around, but this is a pretty big pickle so... Yes, please dear, under my bed is a box. The material is black, onyx, charmed to be scry-resistent. If you could cloak that, I'd be grateful." He shifted a little, grinning, "Not that I think they be able to figure out how to open it... haha."
We want to search his room NOW! The spiked face of one of the hounds was quite close to the elf in charge. Our master has no patience for incompetence... especially when it hinders his plans. It reared up on its hind legs and looked back over its horned shoulder at its three companions behind it. Take the door down. We have no time for this. And I don't think that our friend here will be as stupid as to comprise our actions. She knows better than to risk the Demon Lord's fury.

"What, did you use one of those lock down spells, where the more you try to open it the harder it gets to open it? I have a couple of those." She closed her eyes, muttering a short incantation. She saw the box in her mind vision, entrictly designed, oozing an air of secretive things. She frowned slightly. he spells on it would cancel out her invisibility spells, but perhaps...yes, that would work. she smiled slightly. Twoud be...interesting, to say the least if it was found. carefully, she traced her fingers over the box in her vision, weaving a cloak around it, molding and forming the shape it would appear to be. Carefully she added spells to create the illusion of sensations; Fluffy fur; soft and black. She opened her eyes and grinned. it had now taken the form of a big teddy bear.

"Calm down, Calm down." she muttered, slightly annoyed. these ones were very impatient. at lest that female was polite. "i have a key!" She reluctantly pulled out her set of master keys, fiddling with them a bit for time. The beasts were getting highly impatient. She only hoped that whatever needed to be hidden had been. slowly, she inserted the key into the lock and opened the door.

there was nothing there but the doll, almost mocking Lorzerai in the way it just sat there innocently, the same way it had been before.
"Tired of walking in circles?" said Aros, a bit smug, from the opposite side of the room.
"The illusion is not so simple that you stay in one place. Even those without any magic, if they had a strong enough will, could overcome that type of illusion. Instead, we use the mind against itself, and in course, you created your own trap.
