Val laughed "It would be easier to rid me of my shadows then it would to be rid of you, Hikaru." then quietly so only Ayame could hear "I know, but we can always escape later." he said with a mischievious grin

Val grinned as he shook his head "you know, that boasting of yours is going to get you in trouble one of these days. There are things out there that are older and more powerful then you could even begin to imagine. Believe me, I know." and for a split second, while his eyes locked onto his, Val's softly glowing white eyes turned into bottomless voids of darkness that seem to go on forever, seeming to want to draw Hikaru's gaze deeper in while barely audible voices whispers dark promises in his head, then turned back to normal in less then a blink of an eye though it appeared longer to Hikaru. Val's eyes widen in shock and looked shakened "U-umm... I don't feel so good.... excuse me." then rushed to the nearest shadow and vanished

Several minutes later, a small black shadow darted across the ground heading straight towards Ayame and the others, Ebony jumped out of it and launched herself at Ayame Hurry! Hurry! Val's in great danger!

hikaru just stood there, a dead gaze in his eyes. that thing val did with his eyes had more of an effect than normal. "uuh...." he looked like he was drunk or something (sorry for not posting here, had a lot going on)

hikaru came to his senses. "what was that?" he asked "im gonna go see, be right back" he disappeared in a ball of smoke.

When Hikaru disappeared on her like that, Akira was angry with him. When he reappeared and told her to come with, she had planned to say no and go to her room. The only thing that had changed her mind was when he said it was important. She takes his hand and disappears in a ball of flame.
