Yvonne drank what she needed, and then licked the puncture holes to heal them before letting her head fall onto the pillow. Her eyes had turned a deep red, which had never happened before. She didn't notice, though. She was too busy enjoying the rich and delicious aftertaste of Bernard's blood.

Ratatosk knocked on the door loudly and rudely. "Oi. Sir Erik dropped by, and he said something that sounded urgent. I suggest you two lovebirds get out of bed and head on over to Lord Edmund's place." He went back to the livingroom and sat on the sofa, petting the small bird that had flown in. He softly spoke to it about his situation, and smiled as it chirped it's soft reply, hearing every word. "Aye. I guess you're right." Animals were so smart.
