Chibi_Maru-chan Alex gave a wave from her spot on the ground, "Alex, and I'm far to comfy to get up" she grinned as she moved the swing about with her legs. Sage shook his head chuckling before saying, "Sage, I take it your new in town?"

Mercenary Paladin I won't harm her, but neither will I let your life be taken. If she even THINKS such a thing, perhaps bonds should be cut. I think, once, there was a coven that was more like you. But where they are or what became of them is anyone's guess. Damn factions... Let's not worry too much about it for now, eh? Deidra nodded. "I guess you're right." She managed a small grin. "It's sort of amusing. We, according to tradition, were mortal enemies when we met. Now...only a more than a month later..." she rested her head on Tasuki's shoulder. "We are bound by our souls, ties that are stronger than an ancient feud..."

DarkLadyYuri Deidra nodded. "I guess you're right." She managed a small grin. "It's sort of amusing. We, according to tradition, were mortal enemies when we met. Now...only a little more than a month later..." she rested her head on Tasuki's shoulder. "We are bound by our souls, ties that are stronger than an ancient feud..."

Deidra sat down on the cool grass and looked at the stars as if trying to find the answer to the questions that threaded through her mind. She sighed and sat back, interlocking fingers behind her head. "Not sure yet, depends on what you're up to doing and no kidding there in the stubborness department." She grinned. Wonder how the kids will turn out... She choked back a laugh then stopped. Oh wait, to have kids... That involves having... The thought trailed off as she blushed a dark crimson color and inwardly groaned.

Chibi_Jen Dawn grinned. "Not sure about that, but a few of them do look a little fragile..." She shook her head. "Sometimes I wonder why I even went for this job..." Aslynn gave a smile and double checked her bag and slug it over her shoulder, with a glance at her wrist watch she winced slightly and took off towards the parking lot. Slidding into the driver seat of her car she pulled out and headed to the office. Oh Goddess Terry is going to chew me out sweatdrop Stepping into the archive room Asylnn adjusted her glasses and head towards her desk area. No one had said anything to her on her way in nor had she seen Terry, it was odd in a way. I wonder if there's something up? Setting her stuff to the side she looked over the paper work in her inbox and shuffled through organizing it, by priority, pulling out the first one she flipped through the documentation. It was an old case file on the Dragon that fought one of their elites, only one of the team of eight had survived that. The folder also held with it magical copies of the original shifter text on the dragons. Aslynn pulled up one of the sheets, her eyes catching the expert care and craft used to duplicate the original. If anyone else had looked at these leaflets they would have sworn they where the original text.

Mercenary Baynes You could say that. On a bit of a sabbatical, I guess. Vacationing and causing trouble. Alex looked over Genju, "That last part doesn't seem to surprise me." She pulled herself out of the swing and moved a bit so she could sit and eat her food.

Dawn smailed as Aslynn hurried off and checked her bookbag for her cellphone which started to make a buzzing sound. She read the text message and cursed under her breathe. The high school student council meeting is cancelled because a few members have not shown up to school. She narrowed her eyes. "Hypocritical bastards." she muttered and checked the time. Well..it was heading close to 12:30 and she didn't have anymore classes after lunch period, might as well head home...
Once outside the school building, she hurried over to a close crop of trees and hid herself from view. She looked around carefully, taking in that no one was around, and grabbed the silver pendant around her neck. She closed her eyes and concentrated and pictured herself at home. "Go." Her body glowed a dark amber colored light and she disappeared of the school grounds in to the main hall at Castle Enyart. Dawn sighed and relaxed. Then her eyes took note of two different set of damp footsteps leading up the staircase and raised her guard. Something is not right here...Deidra was here, but whose footsteps are the others? She moved quietly and began to make her way up the stairs.

(I'm just playiying the scene out as if Dawn had never met Tasuki before... sweatdrop ))
Dawn's movement from all the way out in the other tower was immediately sensed by Deidra, who sat up to listen. "Oh, crap. Dawn's home..."

Deidra nodded, before biting her lower lip in nervousness. "Ok, I've got an idea. Wait here and don't move." She gave him a quick smile and sprinted out the hidden door. Once out, she made sure her outfit wasn't still damp and made her way out the trapdoor and down the stairwell.

Dawn had just made it to the courtyard, when Deidra appeared out of the tower. "So why are you home early?" She spoke with a disapproving look, knowing fully well Deidra should be in her next class at that moment.
Deidra shrugged almost nonchalantly. "Got bored and went home. What happened to you, your little groupies ditch you?"
Dawn glared at Deidra openly and sniffed. "Are you ever going to grow up or am I supposed to be babysitting you for the rest of your life?"
Deidra smirked but a muscle in her cheek twitched with anger. "You should know damn well that the only reason I'm here is because I live here and I'm not going to leave something that my father and mother lived for." She shook her head, her left eye hidden behind her longs bangs glittering red, and glared defiantly. "It says in my father's will that I can stay here even after I wed, if that is what I wish and I will!
Dawn rolled her eyes. "Who would want to marry a spoiled little spitfire like you?"
"Who'd want to marry a girl that only cares about the people that killed her own parents?" Deidra shot back.
Dawn's eyes blazed with fury and the atmosphere around the courtyard grew tense and crackled with heavily suppressed power. "How dare you!"

Deidra cleched her fists at her sides. "How dare I? What do you mean?" she explaimed, mockingly. "I'm only related to a blind-sighted, selfish, coven-loving asskisser!"

Dawn growled and unleashed a green ball of fire and hurled at Deidra who leaped out of the way, causng it to hit a few helpless trees in her stead.
Deidra landed gracefully a few yards away from the trees, a dark blue aura of flames surrounding her. "You stupid b***h. Our mother planted those trees!" She raised her hand in the air and brought it down in an arc. Some of the energy from her aura separated from the rest of its form and bound its self together to form a dragonlike creature which reared back its head and shot towards Dawn, who jumped out of its way just in time. It sideswept the castle wall and went back after her.
Dawn gritted her teeth and took the spell head on and a loud explosion filled the area. The smoke cleared and Dawn was seen still standing where she had been hit, a protective sphere barely visible in front of her. "Enough before this damn arguement destroys the castle."
Deidra backed away to stand in front of her hidden doorway of the tower and crossed her arms ove her chest. "Says you. Just leave me alone and go back to your little world of books and kissing some elders' toosh." Then she rolled her eyes and disappeared the opening hole and sealed it shut behind her.
Dawn stood there, staring at the spot where her sister disappeared for a few moments before turning away to go back into the main castle.

Deidra stood behind the wall separating her from her sisiter and waited until she sesnsed Dawn's presense fade into the house. She breathed a sigh of exasperation and made her way back up the stairs, a little tired from the anger-induced energy rush. She crawled out of her trapdoor and lay down on the floor and just listened to her heartbeat slow back to normal. What am I going to do about this? She thought. I skip school, take a swim with a total stranger that may be my soulmate who ended up kissing me, and now my relationship with Dawn is getting worse than usual... She covered her eyes with her hands and groaned. "Goddess help me, my life is going straight to hell..."
