i stated with dir en grey about four years ago but just thought they were an anime band... then this year at anime boston i had i friend who won a yoshiki plushy and i asked what it was so we went to the jrock forum and we watched the pvs. they had moe diru songs, and kagrra and all sorts of stuff... i immediatly fell in love and went home to download until the next day... i got yokan pv another world pv and beast of blood.... now i have 100 hours of jrock and 4 hours of pvs...... im too obsessed

It was late 2000 as I recall...I was at my friends house when we happened upon some Janne da Arc on her computer that her brother must have downloaded. I loved them, so I decided to check out some more. I got more into J-Pop for a while, and it wasn't until about 2002 that J-Rock became my favorite when I started listening to the pillows and some other stuff. Last year is when I started buying CDs and paying more attention to the bands though.

i saw mana's picture on the net and thought "what a pretty woman". and then i read that he's a male... i got into malice mizer and now i'm a big fan of maaaany bands and artists. japanese of course! ^_^ 3nodding

Nalfein You know what would be awesome? xd If you showed pics of Mana in school and you went like "Hey isnt she hot?" and all the guys would be like "HELLY EAH" and then youd be like "ITS A MAN!!!" and theyd be like OMFG xd xd That would pwn I have to play that game all the time. It's fun for a little while. Then people start to catch on. Which is when you break out the girl J-rockers and see if you can fool your friends into thinking they are men. Um...I guess so I can pretend to be on topic: I think it was Kurosawa. Because I thought the music they played in Dreams [especially the Peach Orchard part] was just the most brilliant thing ever in the history of the world. Or Mothra. Man, the Peanut twin girls. They totally rock hardcore right? Yeah. xd
