She'd dreamed as soon as she fell asleep.
She saw a large room, a metalic object looming ahead of her, a great curiosity that caused her to walk forward to the machine. How did she know it was a machine? She saw a bright light flash in her face, she turned to the mirror that flashed the light in her eyes. She stood there confused, the girl who looked back at her, looked nothing like the woman she knew herself as. She walked from the machine, turned and looked at her reflection in the mirror.
This was strange, nothing made sense here...She turned from the mirror, closed her eyes then looked back, she was still the stranger. She was so confused.
Then suddenly, a pair of strong hands tore at her, pulling her backwards. She screamed, struggled Lura slowly started to stir, soft frightened moans escaping her throat. A cool sweat formed over her body.
The arms took her backwards, and suddenly she was tossed into something hard and cold. She was in the machine. She looked about, frantic, confused, scared. There before her stood on the other side of the closed glass door to the machine was a dark evil shape of a man. His eyes bright yellow glaring down at her. A wicked smile reviled sharp devils teeth as he took his fist and struck the bright red button on the side of the machine.
Suddenly she was falling
Lura julted awake, a violent twitch that echoed through her whole body, a soft cry of fright, of pain, escaped her lips. She bolted to a sitting position, falling against Agaio when the stabs from her chest vibrated through her. She was panting. "s**t..."

(( Hope you don't mind the plot twist. XD ))
They'd made quite some progress. Luckily, she was still sound asleep as a cat in his arms. He was not looking forward to her waking up, especially if it was night. He hadn't exactly asked permission to turn her into a kitty cat, but the snow had let up and he could wait no longer to get away from Osric. She couldn't expect him to carry an injured woman through miles of snow, now coudl she?
Still, if it was night she could easily overpower his weak transformation spell, and then who knew what she would try to do to him?
Osric was far behind them now, and the temperature was beginning to pick up, which hopefully meant they were getting closer to a warmer climate.
The she started to twitch. He held her tighter, pulling her warm fuzzy white body up against his chest. She twitched again, cried out, her voice echoing in his head as she yowled. She was panicking. He released her before she could inflict panic on him. She landed in the cold snow.
s**t.
He heard in his head. Oh, dear.
"Lura-"

((haha you kidding? Luv it!))
Lura took a moment to figure what had happened. She looked herself over, white fur was all over her. "What the hell?"she looked about, Agaio loomed over her, "What happened to me?"
everything was spinning what the heck turned her into a cat!?

"Lura- calm down." He knelt before her, so as to feel less imposing. "Listen." He grabbed her, held her against his chest until she stopped trying to scratch him. "Lura, I did this to you. Ouch! Calm down. I had to turn you into something with built-in weapons, didn't I?" He had dropped her and was now examining a tear in his new shirt.

She finally calmed, withdrew the claws she didn't know she had. "But..." her little heart that was already pounding from the nightmare was also now pounding from the scare she'd just gone through. "warn me...Wait, how can you understand me?"
The snow had stopped, finally the weather looked better.
Osric woke hours later, maybe three hours from sundown, and after a few minutes, drew the courage to go down stairs and confront the two. He figured it he couldn't kill them, he could at least help them stay safe, maybe even protect them. It was then he realized that they were gone.
"What...s**t!" he quickly grabbed his things and started outside. He looked about, how far could they have gotten? How long did he sleep? What the hell was he missing?
He saw foot prints in the snow. "Thank god." and he started following them.

He reached out and stroked her sleak back, smoothing her ruffled fur to calm her. "I hear your voice in my head. I'm the one who changed you, so I can do that. I needed to be able to carry you a long way without tiring myself out, so I figured a cat would be the easiest and most flattering." She seemed to have calmed down, distracted by his petting.
He smirked, scratching behind her ears. Nothing a good petting couldn't fix.
"We still have a long way to go." He informed her. "You can brave it as a human or you can try to make trouble, and you're stuck as a cat. Got it? You choose."

Lura was going to answer him, when she was strangly overcome by the state of euphoria his touch caused in her little lithe body as he pet her. She found herself purring. She suddenly didn't want to be human...she liked this, if he could touch her and grant her this wonder of a feeling with out any strange strings attached...she's remain a cat.
"Cat, it's fine..." she said all to quickly, she'd closed her eyes and leaned into his hand as he scratched behind her ears, she pushed her head into his petting. She wanted MORE of this...
She couldn't even explain it. And she didn't feel ashamed...she didn't feel shy about it, she didn't feel angered about being 'weak' around him, it was nice to just be unshielded...bare.
It didn't take long, though, for her to enjoy his petting and THINK at the same time. "So where are we going, exactly?" she purred "And how much longer till we find Rani?"

Agaio chuckled at her happiness. "We have to get to Spring. The long way." He sighed. "And once we're there...I don't know. We'll see." He stood, which unfortunately meant he had to stop petting her.
"Do you want to walk, or do you want me to carry you?" He asked, noticing that the snow was almost taller than she was.

Lura reached to follow his hand as it left her fur, only to scratch her head in disappointment, but soon got over the flooded feeling when he spoke of letting her walk or to carry her. She dimly realized just how cold she was, she was standing in the snow, and she didn't mind him holding her, he would be warm. And yet, she did feel a little pride, she wouldn't ask for him to carry her...she simply pawed through the snow to his feet and stood on her hind legs and gently hit his legs with her front paws. She was care full with her claws, being sure they were tucked in tight and away from him...she didn't want to scratch him and have him refuse to carry her.
She did all this without words, and she left it that way. Hey, she needed to be babied.
Osric walked in the melting snow, he'd stopped for a little, sat to rest on a rock and fell asleep. When he woke, being so close to summer, he found most of the snow had melted, and that the foot prints he'd been following were gone.
"What? Wait..." He noticed there were two sets of footprints behind him, and no footprints before him. And why were they heading toward Summer? If they were infact in summer...he'd be able to see them... considering just before him was about seven yards of open winter plain which opened farther into abrupt sand and desert. He'd be able to see the two... there were no dunes...just strait sand.
Something had to be wrong...He must be following the wrong tracks...What on earth could have happened? damn
And he slowly turned and started back into winter and back to his hut to try to re think what he could have done wrong.

Agaio laughed bemusedly. "Alright, I get the hint." He teased, bending over and picking her up very gently. Funny how he was so rough with her when she was a human, but was so gentle with her when she was a cat. He cradled her fuzzy body and started moving again, glad that he could use her to keep the wind from hitting his chest through his ripped shirt.

Lura was glad that she didn't have to beg, she was glad that she didn't have to say anything, he just understood. It was warm in his arms, she listened to his heart beat as he held her close.
"How long since we left the hut?" she asked moments into their walk. Since they were still surounded by snow she assumed they were still in winter "I bet that...man must be glad we're gone"
She was so content in his arms that she'd completely forgotten the nightmare that woke her and tossed her in the state of panic only minutes before.
Osric was frantic, he couldn't find any tracks...the snow was all muddy. He tried to figure out what to do. Those two were important to the future of this whole world. If they came in contact with the wrong people...the whole world would be over. "damn"
The castle in Summer was humid and slick with blood on the dungen floor. The anual ritual had been conducted that night, two innocents were drained of their blood to create the potion that kept the War lord alive. The little wooden doll used what charm she was given to create the potion and place it in an elegant flagen and marched up to the throne room. She presented the flagon with the dragon to the Dark Shadow in the throne.
"My lord," she said as she let her wooden limbs bend to bow, holding out the flagon. "The potion..."
The War Lord was out of the throne in seconds, bounded toward her and took the cup in his hands and gulped the large flagon's contents in momments. There was a bright glow in the dark room, red flooded every corner - and then slowly the War Lord walked back to the throne and sat down. "Go find the three Foreigners. This elixer wont worm on me for long. GO NOW!" and the little wooden puppet ran from the room and left.

"I'm not quite sure. It's hard to tell how much time is passing in this snowy blankness." He stroked her head absently. "Yes, I'm sure he is. I hope we're out of winter soon. My boots are soaked and I think my legs are cramping from the cold...but I can't really tell, because everything from my kness down is kind of numb." He complained just for the sake of complaining, just because he had an audience to complain to.

Lura listened to his complaints. It wasn't like she had a choice, she was so close to his chest that his words echoed in her ears. She would call him a cry baby, but that didn't seem to fit at the time. She was just content in his arms.
"We should only be a few days till fall right?"

(( Sure.))
Finally, they had reached fall, and stumbled upon yet another abandoned village. Agaio invaded the first open hut and collapsed on the first chair he saw, dropping Lure the Cat onto the bed beside him. He waved his hand lazily and she transformed back into a human. He bent down and took off his boots, massaging his sore, snow-tortured skin. It was night.
That meant Lura was in might-as-well-be-wearing-nothing mode. And she was sitting on a bed now, in a rather provocative pose (whether on purpose or not) and Agaio was reminded painfully of what had been interrupted before everything started snowballing down hill. Desire curled in his stomach.
Curse this. He had better things to worry about. Like the frostbite on his leg, for instance. Much, much more important things to worry about than how to best coerce Lura into kissing him again. Maybe he could convince her to sleep with him that night. Didn't he deserve it? SHE certainly didn't have frostbite.
Ugh, no! He had to get his mind out of the gutter.
He should have left her as a cat.

(haha both characters of yours are 'corn dogs' lol this will be fun, i hope i don't lose my touch >_<)
When Agaio dropped her on the bed, Lura was asleep. She hadn't woken up untill the flooding feeling of magic coursed through her. Funny how when she had magic herself she could feel those things, she julted, moaned greatfully for the magics warmth, and once fully transformed she sat up and leaned back on her hands. She looked over at poor Agaio, his legs and feet must be freezing, she considered using her slight healing powers to fix his frostbitten leg, but she didn't know what it would do - frostbite was caused by ice...and her powers of healing were from ice.
"Do you want me to try to fix your leg?" she asked, she was going to be nice to this man, she decided. He was much more to her then before, what that meant she had no clue, but he was more important for reasons she just couldn't explain to herself. "It might or might not work... since my powers are of water and ice...i could try to warm my healing powers to steam if you think it would help?" She said softly, "But I don't know really how to do that, normaly it's ice...maybe if i was sitting by the fire and over heating my healing ice would be steam or water?" she had crawled across the bed and sat on the edge now, facing him, waiting for his responce.
